If you like name several poems.

I am curious which poets of this generation are likely to stand along side, say, Robert Lowell and Sylvia Plath from the last.

The first anthology, Six American Poets (ed. Joel Connaroe) included Walt Whitman, Emily Dickinson, William Carlos Williams, Wallace Stevens, Robert Frost, and Langston Hughes.

Just something I've been wondering.

I don't know how to play any instrument at all and I've been thinking that perhaps I should give it a go.
I've always liked the song of bass guitars so that is why it popped to my mind.
I don't want to learn to play so I can be part of a band or anything, I dont even care if I never get any good at it. It is more just a sit and home and feel proud of myself for learning something.

Is it easier to learn guitar and then move onto bass or is it just as easy to just start off with bass?

first thee was a dream,
a tiny li'l dream that bloomed and grew
That dream is strugling to reap and bear another dream.
Another dream that can be shared w/ love and teach wisdom.
Now, dream is alone but not isolated,
dream will survive... It'll keep moving on.
Even evenings are on dreams way,
dream will pass it through,
dream will see the mornings that will ease dreams worries.
Dream's achievements are waiting.
Dream will go for it! Dream will become a desire,
desire will be transformed to an actions.
Sooner or later, dream, desire, action
will reach the stars.
Who is dream? who is desire? who is action?
It's me, it's myself,It's my dream

This is a very famous quote that I hear a lot in many different aspects of society,

"Let all the poisons that lurk in the mud hatch out." from I Claudious

she chose to walk alone
though others wondered why
refused to look b4 her
kept eyes cast upward towards the sky
she didn't have companions
no need for earthly things
only wanted freedom
from what she felt were puppet strings
she longed to be a bird hat she might dance alone
felt jealous of the steam that made the air it's only home
she longed to be a bird tha she might fly away
pitied every blade for planted they would stay
some say she wished to hard
some say she wished to long
but we awoke one autum day to find that she was gone
the trees they say stood witness the sky refused to tell
but someone who had seen it said the stroy played out well
she spread her arms out wide breathed in the break of dawn
she just let go of all she held and
she was gone
