of course i was born and still in america "the land of freedom" yeah right. but anyway wasn't there a football who was offered a 6.3 million dollar contract but he wanted to fight for his country instead which i thought was (for lack of better words) stupid and he died. honestly i don't see why people want to go to war but that's just my opinion. what do you think?

i've never kicked a guy there. ever. but i've come to learn my daughter has. we had a talk about how serious that could be, but sadly enough - i walked away a little jelous. i wish i had the nerve to stand up for myself the way she did, or be a take no bullshit kind of ***** for once. i got to thinking about how when i go out with my freinds, certain guys feel free to be crude and act like they're doing me a huge a favor (thinking because i'm a bit chunky i ought to be desperate and thankful for their crass propositions). if it did it NOBODY would blame me. i so could do it. so i feel kind of pathetic for entertaining the thought, and at the same time oh so tempted.

Once they reach a certain age they are considered obsolete and a drag on their society.

Do you think that this is a good idea? Should we implement it in Modern America? I Think of the benefits; no need to set aside social security. No need to have to listen to old people explaining that young people haven't got it together. No need to worry about the old taking up niches in various markets that young people alone should be competing for. There'd be an abundance of new real estate, apartments available.

Can you think of any reasons that this is not a good idea?

This is an ethics question; I value any and all answers.

I think the mommy and daddy take their baby on a picnic. The baby crawls away and the bear picks up the baby. The bear feeds the baby honey and lets her ride on his shoulders. In the end the family is back together.

Okay, I've been playing trumpet since fifth grade and previously had never fallen below third chair. When I entered high school, I wanted to focus more on the academic portion, so I quit. But I missed playing my instrument too much and re-joined second semester. When I got back on it, I was terrible, to say the least. My range had completely sputtered (used to get a C above the staff, was lucky if I got an E in the staff) and I thought that that is what happens when you don't play for a while. Eventually, I worked it up to where my range was up to an F. The thing is, it is seven months after I got back on and I haven't really improved any more since. I thought it could be my braces, but that would have worked it's way out rather quickly. Seriously, any problems you think I might have, I would find it worthwhile for me to address them.

(I believe he is good b/c of his remark to Harry as he was fleeing with Malfoy...

" Blocked again and again and again until you learn to keep your mouth shut and your mind closed, Potter!"

Snape just spent the school year teaching the class how to perform spells without speaking. Why would he choose to give Harry insight on how to become a better wizard as he was fleeing if he wans't actually on the good side?

Thank you very much. Please don't comment on the grammatical errors, as I'm much more interested in what you think of the actual quality of the story.

I have an idea for a book. Well more than just an idea, I have characters, plots, narrative, etc. I want it to have suspense, humor and even romance. Here'e the problem, I have done a lot of writing on it, but when I read it, it seems amateurish to me. Are there courses I can take to help me to develop my characteres, plots, etc. Or should I just admit to myself that I don't have talent and give up. PS I don't care if anyone ever reads my book, I just want to know in my own mind that its good, and maybe my kids will find it in the attic one day when I'm gone. Thanks in advance for any serious reply.
