I think my Intro to Art teacher asked us to do an assignment like that. I cant remember what song I did though.

Not exactly.
I did a huge art project though with the subject "Paul Draper" from Mansun and used some of the elements in his songs in the painting.
I have tried 'drawing a song' but it never turns out right...

yeah I did that in college
song was basketcase by greenday and nearness of you
by norah jones
you have to interpret the song by using different kinds of lines
it was a non objective art
