I disagree that good and stupid are opposites. Good/evil and intelligent/stupid are opposite. Consider the following examples:
Good & Intelligent: someone who uses their brains to benefit society e.g. surgeon that works for charity to help refugees
Good & Stupid: someone lacking in mental prowess but devotes lots of their time to charity and helping others
Evil & Intelligent: someone using their brains to benefit themself at the expense of society e.g. criminal mastermind
Evil & stupid: the sterotype 'thug'

In summary, I place stupid on a totally different scale to good and evil. This would explain why a stupid person could be borderline between being good/evil.

stupid is between good and evil, and it spreads around, creating a sphere of elements which engulfs all things which are human and not human.
But that must mean there is a lot of stupidity around, right? :)
