"lets go back in time and kill the guy who invented maths"?

this is a cliché used by students to emphasise their hatred of mathematics. I want to prove this wrong for my mathematics/philosphy assignment at school. the motive of going back in time to kill the guy who invented mathematics begs the long asked philosophical question whether mathematics was originally invented or discovered. If i can argue that mathematics was originally discovered, that means that the long used cliché is wrong! but of course, i need to get a discussion going...

How do I edit jpegs to take out the "dots"?

I am importing a jpeg and it is very small. When I enlarge it (so it fits nicely in a powerpont), the picture gets really fuzzy and "dotty".

Europeans, what principles affect your judgements?

I've been curious for a while what principles Europeans base their support of a given side in a conflict on.
