When I was younger we went to live to south america. I did not like our maid and once I locked her in the backyard. Then I went for my dad's gun and started shooting at her...no no I did not want to kill her...I just wanted her to dance a bit and she did dance very well..... yeah nasty, irresponsible, unjustifiable...but that was a long time ago and I was 15

Some times you encounter, a question that means more to you than mere points to collect.

Sometimes, the question hits home and it is very personal in some way.

Some people will ignore it, because it touches the very fiber of your soul.

And there are some that truely try to answer to help, they give it their all, to help. In the hope that in some profound way, they are perpetuating the good we hope to see in the world. When we see ugliness sneaking into our lives everyday.

I don't care about the points, or that some other shallow jerk will mock me.

But I think I just stumbled across one of those questions, and totally wasted (did I waste it) two hours to write the answer, at least my answer for it.

I wrote a poem and sent it in to poetry.com. It was selected to be published in IMMORTAL VERSES. also enrtered contest and the poem is being put in the semi-finials as well. Is this book any good? I do know it is about poetry. Any info I can get would be wonderful.

if i am right....when a ballet dancer points.......as in swan lake with her toes pointing....how are her toes positioned in the ballet shoe....? is it that she is dancing on the knuckles of her toes ....or is it that she is dancing on her tip toes?wow i would love an answer....many thanks dan....

I don't want to wait until the last minute to do something. I wake up, I say I'm going to do it, but there are other things that get in the way such as chores, breakfast, etc. Then later in my free time i choose to do a more relaxing activity such as reading or tv. Usually by doing this, I'm up late doing what I said I was going to do in the morning. Does anymore know how to help?

I live in youngstown, ohio and back in about the 1930s-50s there was an airport next to where my house now sits. No one knows the name of it. Its all gone trees and such cover the grounds but. I want to look it up because i think i may have a few oil wells on my property. I just cant figure out where to look at to find the name of that airport.

I am currently directing a production of "Taming of the Shrew" and never in my experience as a director have I had lead actors that were so hesitant to do what I ask them to do. It's always "that doesn't feel right" or "I can't do it that way because blah blah blah" I don't want to be a dictator but by the same token, an actor's job is to try to understand the director's concept and go with it. I'm lucky to have actors of such talent, but I really wish they would leave their egos behind and trust that I know what I want and I see a bigger picture than just their role. Has anyone else had a similar experience? how did you deal with it?

Addressing the traditional photographers, have you noticed, over this last couple of years, how that when you take a film for developing, there can be: (a) a "cast" over all the photographs,
(b) the colours are not "true" - example a blue sky can look turquoise, (c) the photograph has a 'flat appearance' (d) people can look like cardboard cutouts.

Can anyone recommend a film developer(s) which gives the authenticity of the traditionally developed photographs? I think UK film photographers generally should accumulate names of good film developing companies for passing on to others.
