For my generation (born 1982) I can think of when Princess Diana died, and 9/11. What else can you think of?

What i mean is do lyrics such as "I just want to see you pop that thing" and "put ya *** into it, i just want to see you put ya back into it" make teenagers think that sex is cool, so they and go and do it? Also, are rappers pertuating the racial prejudices when saying "bush don't like black people" and making them hate the cops for busting them selling coke? I thought coke was illegal, so it is the cop's job to snoop it out? Are rappers just not good for society in general?

I know crayola advertises/notes that their crayons are "non-toxic" but I think they are still "hazardous".

Ive been wearing this face mask while painting, but it is really uncomfortable and doesn't bring in any fresh air. How do other painters do it? I feel nauseated after I paint. Are these oil/acrylic/watercolor fumes poisonous?

"Traditions" meaning what other people have told you to do, think or believe in all aspects of life. Personal experience... well, you understand. =)

I'm looking for a few hard to find out of print books. I've tried the typical ebay/amazon/borders/barns&noble and a dozen other sites. I've searched by the ISBN number too. I'm looking for Fever Heat by A. Vicker but I can't find it anywhere!

What would be a good career for me? There are to many choices. Here are my interests & my personality:

I'm a laid back southern girl who likes to cook, ride horses, and of course eat pie while listening to the Allman Brothers Band. Then I'm the girl that loves poetry, art, books of anykind (history books, autobiographies, novels, short stories....), classic rock (the Stones, the Doors, Jimi Hendrix, The Who...), has traveled through out Europe and am living there for a year next summer with a friend. I not only like to look at other peoples poetry and art, but I create my own and am in the process of writing my first book. I also want to have a family someday. Ok, do you see the problem? I want a huge exciting life (and so far have had one sense I tend to live by the moment) but I also want a laid back one....another thing is that I'm also very interested in philosophy and the religions of the world and think I would like a job concerning those two subjects, but I just don't know. Any ideas? If you want to know more about me or my interests to help better answer my question just ask!

I am bored and I keep posting questions about ignorant people who don't know about Pecos Bill, but I am getting serious answers almost entirely.

Does anybody know who John Henry is?

I'm a drawer and a painter. Though, better drawer then a painter. I'm pretty good at what I do. But now, I have this empty canvas, and oil paintings. And once I got teh idea to paint, I start and then it wanishes. I become unsetisfied with it. And I can't work in that mood any more.

I just can't sit and do the job. I'm not expexting anything from me, but, it suck whern you are not able to sit do the painting. I say, there's enough time, but another me tells that sucks.

For those who missunderstood this, I'm aware that I shouldnt urge myself, and I don't. But some BUG in my mind pop-up, and make my wish go with the wind. It's not a wish, just the IDEA of my paining is gone.

How to deal with that I'm so smart lazy???:))))

Edge - E. Motketsan

Through chilling light I escaped all reason
only to have reached the dark creative edge
Down the sheer wall, stones of knowledge slipped
not even a whisper's breath rose from its depth

Looking back to all that's known
time had stopped and quests concluded
In majestic silence a leap of faith
to awaken the soul of fettered content.

Can you tell people about everyday things that happened, and make them laugh, or at least interested? Do you perpetuate your old family stories by passing them on to younger generations?

Well, answering many of these dull questions was...somewhat satisfying, and irritating (towards several unmentioned idiots), but now I ask a question that's actually worth critisism (or not...depends on you):

What is your life worth to you?

For the best answer, I'll award 10 points.

Some experts (athletes, dancers, musicians, visual arts, cabinet makers, lab technicians, mechanics, surgeons .etc. ) may have acquired knowledge that is difficult to describe in words. Does this mean that other Ways of Knowing (emotion, reason, and perception) play a more important role than language in knowing how to do something?

I wrote it for Creative Writing last year and I thought it was pretty good. Of course, I am biased. :}. But I would like to know what other people think. As much as I would like to send it along to everyone with the courtisy to answer, I can only send it to a few number of people. So, if you are interested in reading the story, please leave a post and I'll get back to you. Please don't post your email address on your answer though, I would it if a few annoying people were to have access to it. If you're interested, please leave a message and I'll be happy to send the story along.
