I don't feel like giving you my information. Not because I'm worried, just because...it doesn't matter. At all.
Happiness to me is being able to accept the flaws of the world and find a reason to be glad to be alive no matter what. Because there truly is always a reason to be happy, even if it's only the fact that you're so lucky to be alive.

Female, market research, applying to medical school this year.
I believe happiness is a state of mind controlled by various neurotransmitters and their effect on certain parts of your brain. Happiness can be induced in a lab with drugs (like cocaine), and the lack of happiness (depression I suppose) can also be induced by blocking certain receptors for certain chemicals in the brain. It is a subjective experience within your head. It feels incredible!

Happiness the longer version of pleasure. It is the satisfaction of senses especially the heart. The more satisfied one's heart is in relation to any activity or circumstances, the happier a person is.

Happiness is a state of mind. Some say you choose to be happy, and, to a point, I agree. However, I also say happiness is a feeling that comes when you truely accept, and appreciate yourself, totally, 100%, for who you are; for who God created you to be, and, when you fully choose to be that person, with all of your flaws and and all of your unique and wonderful qualities.

happiness for me means getting what u want....it is a state of mind..some ppl find it in food,,some in clothes,,some in jewellery some in travelling...u can find it anywhere u want to but most of the times it gets restricted due to ur frames of mind and human tendency to ignore the importance if what we have.....to have the forbidden fruit...what can't be had

For you it is your belief that you are happy at a given moment.
For others it is your smiles and behaviour indicate whether you are happy or not
Find out your self
There are no measuring units for it.
