no, they are fictitous characters. read the disclaimer at the start of the book. ( that is assuming some zealot hasn't removed the disclaimer and tried to pass it off as fact )

You know, I have always heard that they were the only two people that didn't have belly buttons and I believe it! But I guess there is no way to prove it, it just wouldn't make any since if they did have them though.

No. Adam was created by God from the dust of the earth. Eve was created by God using one of Adam's ribs.

They certainly could have been created with belly buttons, but I think they were created without them.

They came from the design God created with reproduction.
God designed how to reproduce other humans and bellybuttons are the effect. Bellybuttons are not sum unplanned spawn of creation. God knew this would happen because its natural as he created it.
