The Jew's lesson is to Always remember. The last of the survivors are dieing of old age. If the Jews (especially in America and in Israel) are not going to remember it might happen again to them.

That is why it's so important for the Jews that Israel is strong. If anything happens to the Jews somewhere in the world, Israel will protect them (see how Israel saved 14,000 Jews from Ethiopia when they were in danger).

Unfortunately, since the Holocaust in Germany, there were a lot of holocausts, to other people and the world didn't learn. If you cant protect yourself, no one will protect you. Unless you have something the world wants - see Kuwait and the invasion of Iraq. Haw the world interfered because of the oil. Nobody is interfering when it's in Africa. Africa has nothing to offer.

Probably the best thing to do is not put up with it. It doesn't take an Adolph Hitler to stir up things to a point like this. Joseph McCarthy was doing a pretty good job of it as well. George Wallace seemed to be on the same track. While I'll not put President Bush into the same category, the conditions for hatred of Muslims exist.

The thing is that holocausts of limited natures have occurred since World War II. Cambodia was a holocaust against anyone perceived as an intellectual. The Rwandan civil war was another example. In the old Yugoslavia, "ethnic cleansing" was a euphemism for a would-be holocaust.

It would be hard for average citizens to stop genocide in other countries, but they can work to stop it in their own. Simply not participate is something anyone can do. Proactive political involvement, whether it be voting in elections or writing one's representatives in Congress is another step. Most important of all is to not buy into the whole "scapegoat" mentality that the Nazis created in the 1930's.

because that's between the substantial activities of historic past, like the crusades, the witchhunts, etc. because that's something really dreadful to have occurred, fantastically in a civilized society. So you should target to appreciate WHY it has occurred and the way it replaced right into a probability. And out of comprehend to the victims, yet as well to the survivors and their descendants. There are fairly some human beings alive who survived one the the camps - imagine how they could sense if someone all of surprising determined now to not tutor the Holocaust at school any more effective?

Sadly, your question is too late. There have been large scale massacres since the horror of the WW2 Holocaust: the "killing fields" of Cambodia, the former Yugoslavia, Darfur, to name a few.

Read the excellent and interesting experiment perfomed by Stanley Milgrim.

We can save the world simply by standing up and objecting when we see injustice. Silence is complicity.

Hold fast to the rule of law, protest any attempt to remove civil liberties from any sector of the population. Refuse to stand by when any sector of the population is referred to or treated as less than human.

DONT LET THE GOVERNMENT TAKE AWAY YOUR GUNS. The very first thing the Nazis did was disarm the Jewish people. There was no fighting back. You can say anything you want about guns being bad, but when they're trying to haul me away into a boxcar taking me to god-knows-where-but-the-neighbors=never-came-back-from-there---i"m gonna shoot the ^*$#^@.

Nothing, hatred is human nature and as long as we have hate and powerful weapons of death we shall always have genocides, they have been part of human society ever since the beginning of time. (sighs)
