Well today's youth face many challenges. Currently, our society does not value education as they use to. Morally, the examples that are illustrated on television and in music cause youth to believe its OK to be disrespectful, tramps and thugs etc.
As for role models the picking are becoming slim. Youth look up to rappers, pro athletes, pastors and parents, and many of these people assume no responsibility to their communities other than donating money but are not accountable for their actions.
