We have no idea if this was courtesy of ghosts or big trucks, but anyway... we were staying in a Charleston, SC historic home that was turned into a Bed & Breakfast. It has a ghost story, this one dealing specifically with the room we were staying in. (We didn't know the full story till we left!) Well, story goes that a little girl died in a fire up there- 3rd floor- and she likes to come back & just be ornery like a little kid, no bad hauntings, just lights going on & off, stuff a real little kid would do to be ornery. Anyway... one afternoon, my parents & I are up in the room, & I'm on my bed reading & the bed starts to shake. And not a 'garbage trucks here' or 'it's tremor' shake, kinda like as if a little kid was jumping on my bed while I sat there! It happened a couple times, we asked about tremors that afternoon but everyone looked at us like we were stupid. And if it was truck big enough to shake a bed that much, would've I have heard it? I say it was the little girl ghost! (Who also had the same name as me! Freaky!)

Several times.
Driving home on Rte. 2 one foggy night (this route connects Cambridge to Concord and points beyond) I saw a troop of colonial soldiers cross the road. I was dead sober. It wasn't scary, just interesting. Are they frozen forever in combat?
In Maine I was sitting in the dining room of an old house. I could just hear a loud party going on. The radio and TV were off, and I was alone in the house. I went outside to see if it was any louder outdoors (thinking perhaps the neighbors were having a party), but I couldn't hear it outdoors. Back in the dining room, I listened to it for nearly 10 minutes before it faded away. Time warp?

properly, i've got in no way extremely considered a ghost, yet I grew up in an previous dwelling house that had a spirit that used to make noises - greater often than not the sound of turning newspaper pages and books dropping to the floor. the only different social gathering substitute into at my Grandmother's dwelling house while the cousins might social gathering & we'd attempt to speak with spirits. We asked for one to knock three times on a window pane and it did. all of us have been given scared & went screaming downstairs. It substitute into humorous.

I've had sharp feelings or almost tangible experiences with "something" which I will not, at the moment, say were "ghosts." I don't know what they were. It could very have been my imagination, but some of those experiences seemed a little too real.

In the Old Testament Israel's First king, King Saul sought the witch of Endore to conjure Samuel. Samuel came into the room and ask King Saul why he disturbed his "sleep". His inquiry about the battle the next day was not what he wanted to hear; Samuel said he was to fall and die then.

yes, I had something similar to Sarah's encounter - I was half asleep and I felt something touch my leg, I thought it was my sister trying to scare me and I opened my eyes and looked - but there was nobody in my room and the door was closed too .... I've been wondering ever since whether I just imagined it or if not what it could have been ...

Yes, I have had many. But, 2 stand out more than others.

The first I was lying in bed and I could feel someone touch my leg. I turned and looked but no one was around.

The second I was sleeping and I could feel someone walk over to my bed and get right in my face. I could feel the heat and energy. But, when I opened my eyes, no one was there and I could still feel it.

I have seen a ghost once. My apartment is located behind a cemetery. I've also had other strange things happen to me while living there.
