Yes, getting scolded at can make children very emotional. They can even get sick and tired of getting yelled at, and sick and tired of either parent / guardian getting angry with them. Even when I was a kid, if either parent got mad or scolded me I would yell back at that parent and get mad at him / her back. I would even get emotional as well sometimes.
Does your child either get emotional (Cry) to get you to change your feelings toward you and apologize and to get you to understand that he / she isn't appreciated by your anger? Or does your child get mad at you back and yell at you to get you to understand that he / she resents your anger towards them and doesn't appreciate it at all?
When Dorothy smacks the Cowardly Lion's hand and scolds him for chasing Toto, he cries.

Okay I have this big -thick- curling iron, just as I was told to buy to get hair with bigger curls like Miley Cyrus's hair, but everytime I heat it up and curl my hair with it, it only curls the bottum, I want it curled like that the whole way up like this -> http://www.teenidols4you.com/blink/Actors/miley_cyrus/miley_cyrus_1180279584.jpg but I can never seem to get it like that, and yes my hair is long like her's and yes Im holding it in to heat for more than 50 seconds, So my question is, how can I make it work? I mean..should I hair spray it on every strand of hair while im rolling it up to curl or something? Please help, Its really important to me. Thanks.

What sublte sounds that are far away can you hear? What are your feelings with hearing nothing at all? Does your thoughts seem to resist the noise? Let them resist and just listen as if nothing matters because noting doesn't matter but existing in the here and now.

I don't drink as I'm an alcoholic. I've been sober about 14 months. I find that when I am around people drinking I get uncomfortable particularly if everyone is getting drunk or if I'm around people drinking for more than three days in a row. I don't like having alcohol in the house either and my husband's drinking makes me tense. I don't get "tempted" uncomfortable, just uncomfortable. However my husband happily drinks and thinks that I'm being a control freak for getting uptight about it. Like the other day he'd had 5 glasses of wine at a function and even when I said I would like him to stop he had another 2. He's also been drinking every day for the last 8 days including when we were on holiday with drinking family members and we got home and I thought yay, no alcohol today then he has a beer cause he's "thirsty". Am I a control freak? Should I be trying harder to accept the fact we live in a drinking culture? How can I sort my prob with husband and also not feel like a killjoy?

i just want to know if is it true that if i have adsense on my site and lets say i have a skyscraper add thin with like 4 adds .
is it true that the add at the top is worth more then the others?
if so than it would be better to just put a little square at the top with one add, because then people would aways click on the high paying add. correct ?

I'm on vacation around Denver right now and am hating it. The high elevation (!5,000 ft.) makes me get bad headaches along with running out of breath very easily/my heart racing while doing simple things like climbing a flight of stairs. If you have any advice, please help me out.
