I am from the UK and looking at moving to Toronto I have since found quite a reasonable apartment in Scarborugh but i am now concerned

My friend who lives in Toronto said they have had a lot of violence in the past with shootings and even a serial rapist

Is Scarbourgh really a bad area

A few months ago I was given a booklet with information about my exams.On the first page are all my details for the exam entries (I'm in year 12 and have a January exam). I only just noticed that my date of birth is incorrect, and I looked it up in the booklet and it says to inform the Examination's Officer, but I don't know what to do because I only have one day of school before the exam, and now we're in the holidays and I'm really worried. What should I do to get this fixed?

(I know I should've checked the information sooner but what can I do now?)

Why does society in genral expect children to be controlled?
Not in a bad behaviour way, but in their daily routine.
Why do they have to sleep, eat, and play when it is convenient to their parents?
I have so many people who have a pop at me for doing things like feeding my children when they are hungry. If your child woke up in the night and couldn't get back to sleep because they were hungry, wouldn't you feed them? It has happened to my eldest a few times and I have fed her, which some people have absoultely slated me for. The thing is it only took 5 mins and she was back asleep, if I had left her to cry about it then we both would have been up all night.
And whats wrong with feeding a baby on demand? I eat when im hungry, not when someone tells me I can eat!
I don't have any strict routine with my children, I follow their signals, but they have fallen into their own routine that they are happy with and I must say is pretty good. They sleep 7pm-6am most nights.

I was very polite and professional with that guy with the bad manners who didn't have enough money and said
"Take the fu#king money!" I'm thinking maybe I was a little too soft on him in response. What would you have done? He was a buck and about 60 something cents short and his exact words were "Just take the fu#king money!" somewhat causing a scene. I think this guy might have had some anger issues. I'm thinking maybe I let him off too easy when I said it's ok, I gave him helpful brochure and said for him to have a nice day at the next stop. He finally apologized at the very end and told me had had a very bad day and he felt bad for acting the way he did, but I'm still starting to think that maybe I was a little too nice and helpful in response given his bad attitude from earlier on.


How would you have handled it?
What would you have said and done if you were in my position under the exact same circumstances with the same guy?

my jeep starts off at 5mph even in park and the cop clocked me at 44 in what he says is a 30 zone though it is a 35 because it's a school zone and schools not in, right?? so i was actually going 39 in a 35 zone..well lf i pay it within the 60 days they don't report it to the bmv so my insurance won't be notified is that correct?

I saw this thing on tv and I was just wondering what the person could do to stop it.

The child and father were always a bit tense, but sometimes the father would beat the child really hard for the simplest things. The child wants something to be done, but does not want to be taken away from his mother, and the mother wont acknoledge what the father is doing to his child. I was just wondering , what could the child do? maybe it will be in the next series

The only ones I know of are Virgin Mobile and the AT&T GoPhone. But the Virgin coverage area is pretty terrible here and the GoPhone seems expensive.

What other options are there?
How's the service? Coverage area? Pricing?
