I seriously doubt you could get sick unless you ate something ridiculous like ten full rolls of it. Sushi is 'perfect food' as far as I'm concerned ... but the most I've ever been able to eat is two rolls, or one roll and six sashimi (with the raw fish on the rice, no filling) ... but no, a lot of sushi isn't 'bad' for you, but there may be too many calories if you eat a whole lot of it and other foods besides.

Allot of anything can upset a stomach... however sushi is raw fish and raw fish comes with high levels of mercury. To be honest enough mercury could kill a person, it is called mercury poisoning. You could look it up. An excessive amount of sushi probably will not kill you however it could cause illness. also just because you are sick after eating allot does not mean you have mercury poisoning, the fish could possibly not have been prepared correctly or perhaps one of the other ingredients could be causing the problems. if you have one night of lots of sushi, then I wouldn't be THAT concerned, however if you eat Sushi all the time then perhaps you could research mercury poisoning and cross reference your symptoms. you may want to do this anyway. take care and good luck!

No, infact, eating sushi is very healthy for you. Most sushi that is packaged in the market is good, but cooked.

Authentic sushi uses uncooked fish and such, and poses a very slight risk of contamination (like all meats), but there are many types that can be cooked if you prefer.

Men's Health once suggested that you can eat as much as you like. More is better, except don't over indulge of course.

Lean, protein, carbs, low calorie, heart healthy... I love it.!

You can get sick from eating any animal products that are not cooked properly. For sushi eaters it's only a matter of time, including all those Japanese.

If your question entales uncooked fish it seriously depends on how the fish is prepared

Technically Sushi can be cooked or uncooked because Sushi is fish with rice.

Like many Asian foods, when it is prepared traditionally, sushi is in fact very good for you. The basic elements of sushi are vinegared rice, dried seaweed nori, vegetables, and fish. Traditional sushi is low in calories while also high in fiber, vitamins, and omega-3 acids. When eaten in moderation, sushi can be a healthy and delicious meal, especially when supplemented with interesting sides to tempt the palate.

The important thing to remember when eating sushi is that, like all foods, when eaten in excess it is not very healthy. The fresh, nutritious ingredients are not calorie free, although they are low in calories. Especially in the West, sushi is often made with fatty fish and vegetables like fried fish, eel, and avocado. In small amounts, these fats are actually good for you: in large servings, they are not. Sushi encourages dainty eating and small portions, because of the way in which it is prepared and served. Stick with traditional Japanese sushi, rather than Westernized versions with things like cream cheese in them, and enjoy your healthy meal.
