I live in Southern California. I will be attending school here and am hoping to find some place where I can go into Mexico, when I have free weekends and what not and help out (in any area). I don't need an organization necessarily; I am able to get there myself. I would like to work on my Spanish, see another country, meet new people and help out. Any ideas?

Please, someone who knows , tell me the difference between corn and maize and please provide sources -

I ask because my daughter and I have corn allergies- in looking for corn free products I have found things things labled 'corn free' but maize is listed in the ingredients -

I have had popcorn and corn starch and had reactions but have had somethingm ade with maso meal and had no problem.

This is evidence that maize is easier to digest, break down than corn thus they are not the same thing

any help with specifics will be greatly appreciated

i haven't talked to my dad in about 2 months becasue of this fight. its a really long story and id appreciate it if u'd help me. my dad used to be all jokey and stuff....didn't care about thing where they were..one night...i was sitting in the couch blowing bubbles for my baby bro when dad asked me who put this plate on the floor, i was just wondering and then i said you becasue he is the one who usually puts things anywhere because he is the "DAD". and then i had NO IDEA if he was joking or not when he told me to put it in the kitchen becasue sometimes when he yells, he jokes.. so i was waiting until he began hitting me or beating me.. so i just put the plate away while crying(it was actually my big bro.) my dad said to my mom that he hit cuz i was rolling my eyes when he was talking to me but i wasn't , iwas just staring at him hysterically becasue i wanted to know if he was serious about the plate.. so after that i was sooooo scared i went in my bedroom , i was scared cuz i thougt something is gonna happen to me,…. When my granma came over from Pakistan she said it was haram not to speak to xomeoneESPECIALLY your dad…. I still couldn’t talked to him because verything was going fine.. but the prob was tht my mom kept yelling at me and forcing me to say SALam, ofcourse its haram if you don’t then she tells me and forces me to talk to him but I JUST CAN”T IS NOT EASY.. sometimes my mom puts so much pressure on me….. is it haram if you don’t talk to someone… I just really don’t know what to do I can’t speak to my dad and say sorry because I don’t have the confidence…

please help

I recently did a backup of the files on my website only to find out from an antivirus program that the files were corrupted with a trojan horse (called BackDoor-AWQ). How do i find out where it is on the site and remove it?

Hi
My husband and I have a three week new baby boy. It took us a long time and effort to get pregnant - we both wanted this child for a long, long time (been married 10 years). Now that the baby here I can't believe how my husband is acting....He still works late, still enjoys relaxing with a few beers and then wants to handle a newborn - not drunk but he's not himself. I find this behaviour shocking - didn't he think his life would change? After 3 weeks he finally felt he was ready to change his first diaper but I wasn't allowed to help.....I listened to my baby cry for 2 mins. before I forced my way in....he wont let me suggest anything. Not sure how to get through to him - he's driving me crazy (even more crazy than the usual hormonal crazies I've been feeling ie. very protective of my new baby). Or, is it me? Do other husbands act like this? Feeling worried and nervous about this whole situation.

We've been trying to refinance our home for the past 2 months. The mortgage co hired an appraiser and all paperwork was completed. Now we find out that the underwriter does not approve the loan based on the appraisal. Why and how often does this happen? Why would the mortgage company hire an appraiser to perform an appraisal, that ultimately the underwriter would not approve?
