Indeed we do. My wife and I have also attended two of the parades over the years. I've found the best TV coverage the past few years has been on the House & Gardens TV (HGTV) cable channel. No commercial interruptions and commentators who know everything there is to know about flowers.

I love the tournament of Roses parade. It is my dream to one day go to Pasadena on New Years Eve, camp out there and watch the parade up close.

I usually watch it. We never attended the parade in all the years I lived there, from birth until 1996, but one year we went the day after to view the floats. They were still beautiful and the scent of the flowers was wonderful.

I always try to watch a little of it. Mainly to see what the float
entry for the Portland, Oregon, city of roses, looks like. Pasa-
dena also has a floral float in the Rose Festival Parade every June in Portland. I think it's a playful competition that they both enjoy.

Think of the hours of work and preparation that goes into that parade. What a wonderful event to look forward to each New Year's Day!

It's the only way to start my "new year". I've been watching it for too many years to count now and still enjoy it especially on HGTV off my satelite TV system.

I have also seen the "Macy's Thanksgiving Parade" several years in person back in the early 80's when I lived in NJ.

It's my favorite parade on TV, although I never miss the Thanksgiving Day parade, either.

We usually drive up as close to the parade as possible and wtach it at the tail end. You can usually find a good spot to watch there. We're always planning to rent a motel room along Colorado Blvd. and watch it from one of the front rooms. One of these years. Here's a hint-it's better watching it on TV.
