I recently did a backup of the files on my website only to find out from an antivirus program that the files were corrupted with a trojan horse (called BackDoor-AWQ). How do i find out where it is on the site and remove it?

NOTE:
<1>My host doesn't provide antivirus scanning for their clients
<2>The files are in a zipped format and have been quarantined on my computer

Just clean or quarantine the virus. Then reload your web site to the server

Norton, AVG , Avast are free antivirus software. Ad-aware, Ewido are free spyware removers. You can download free softwares at http://fixit.in/antivirus.html and http://fixit.in/spywareremover.html

You're basically screwed, it's too late to fix it. You need to format your computer
