i got a wacom tablet [intuos3] for christmas. i wanted it for graphics design. first, i installed it on one of our laptops just to try it out, and i could write; ex: in explorer i could handwrite the address and it would recognize my handwriting and go in the box. this was on VISTA.
now i installed in on the computer that i'm going to use it on and i cant use it to write, which was quite convenient, and this operating system is XP.
writing isnt gonna be its primary use but it'd be nice to not have to pull out my keyboard to type.
i've been searching everywhere and i cant find how to make it like it was on vista
(and no i didnt do anything differently when i installed it)
i know its the operating system, but is there anyway i can make it do like it did on vista?

I have never been really cheery but recently i have been worse than normal. Yesterday i asked a girl i really liked out and she said no. Rejection seems to be happening to me so much from women of late and im fearing its affecting me mentally. I thought it was just a build up of negative thoughts.


Then i found out today that a number of people have blocked me off of their msn messenger and just now i feel very alone. I have a great family and some really close friends but i dont know how many more hits my confidence can take.

I dont know what i should do. I have no real ambitions currently. Im on holiday from university and i just feel really low.
Obviously my university course is a goal but that is long-term. right now i have no short term goals.

Is it natural for constant rejection to affect someone in this way or is there something more to it?

in society its not generally accepted to get angry or aggressive so what are some other ways ?

i have borderline personality disorder to...but also ive met alot of antagonizing, patronizing people through life...the type, when your backs turned or your not around....they laugh and make jokes about you.

theres honestly been times when ive wanted to slap a person hard in the face and call them stupid, idiotic moron......but then, i get in trouble.

so i have to remain cunning and use guile but its hard when people are naturally provocating and insulting.

what is your opinion and how would you deal with such situations ?

especially when your not around to defend yourself

Laptop internet connection was working fine. Installed some software and since then been getting blue screen when press button on laptop to connect. Uninstalled software completely from machine. Gone back to restore points prior to the problem. Gone into Safe start up mode and to last known good configuration. Still blue screening. Been into wireless network settings - laptop continuing to shut down and blue screen. This is my husband's laptop fortunately otherwise I'd have done my nut by now! We've tried everything we know and I'm more of a techie than he is!

Please, someone help! There's a lot of hair pulled out and lying on the floor just now. Thanks!

I've been dating a guy for seven months. It wasn't officially commited but he told me that I was the only person he was seeing. However, for the past few weeks gradually he's been acting strange, I just chalked it up to stress cause he said that things with us were fine, but I could sense that something was different.

The final straw came on saturday, I called him to ask if I could bring him his Christmas present by the house and he didn't pick up. I left a voicemail about it yet he never responded or acknowleged it in any way. He went back home for the Holiday on monday and won't be back till after new years so i won't see him for a while and I don't dare call him while he's visiting his family. The only contact I had from him all Christmas was a text but it looked like it could be a mass text.

Please give me some guidance, I am crushed and at a loss for what to do, I don't just want to give up. Should I even try to talk to him about it when he gets back?
