I'm visiting my mom's house for the week. How can I get her to turn up the heat? It's FREEZING in here! She is really cheap (and kindof poor) so she keeps the house at 60 degrees. It is ALWAYS SO COLD! She does this to save money. How can I get her to turn up the heat? She is really hard-headed!

I'm really not flexible and I think that that's becoz I never work out making me chubby. I really want to join cheerleading, and I know that I have to be flexible! Any ideas on making me lose weight and strengthen every single part of my body(abs,arms,legs,etc.)? What kind of streches/exercise should I do and what are some of the cheerleader stunts?

Sorry to anyone whos already seen this.. i just posted it in the marriages and divorce section but thought it would be wise to post here aswell.

Im 25 years old (male) and engaged to my fianceee who iv been with for around two years but as we get closer to the big day theres something thats really bothering me
Baisically between the ages of 14-17 when i was at boarding school i fooled around (for want of a better word) with one of the guys i shared a room with. Since then nothing like this has ever happened but iv never told anybody about this and so much of me wants to get it off my shoulders and tell her to start married life honestly and everything but on the other hand so much of me dosent want to say any anything for fear of what her reaction might be. Do you think that i should say anything or is it something we could go for the rest of our lives without her ever needing to know?

An elderly couple went into a doctor. They told the doctor "We’re having some trouble with our sex life. Could you watch and offer some suggestions?"

The doctor replied, "I’m not a sex therapist. You should find someone else."

The couple said, "No, No, we trust you."

After watching them make love, the doctor said, "You don’t seem to be having any troubles. I wish my sex life was as good. I can’t give you any suggestions."

I uses Gillette antiperspirant gel. It rubs off onto my shirt during the day, and after a few weeks, it form a hard patch under the arms where it rubs off. I've tried to soak it for hours in the wash, and tried to rub that area with my hands to try and wash it out, but no luck. Gillette is the only product that seems to work for me, but I cannot keep on buying new shirts every other month. Is there somebody out there that can help me or give me advice of how to get it out of my clothes?
Any help will much be appreciated:)

killed like it was or tranquilized? I wish they would've killed it with grenades and shotguns instead of revolvers. And the animal rights whackos are saying, why didn't you tranquilize the cat? Because it had killed one guy, mauled 2 others, was standing by an alive victim, then mauled him again as the cops approached, and then the cat ran towards the officers. And they ask why did the cops kill the cat? Animal rights whackos are just that, WHACKOS. You agree?

Help! My teacher has never taught my class how to solve problems similar to this. Instead he gave a summative lab with very similar questions as the one show above. And sadly our textbooks do not explain how to solve such a problem very well. Texas high school textbooks suck!

I have tried everything. I have added the g/mol & amu's. I have even solved for the percentage that each element occupies in the problem---as so far I have been unsuccessful. Can someone please tell me how to solve this problem?

Here's the question:

1)How many Cl- ions are present in 2.00 mol of KCl?

[A] 12.04 * 10^23
[B] 6.02 * 10^24
[C] 2.00
[D] 0.5

I signed a petition this morning in the Castro district calling on the San Francisco zoo to replace all the animals with Circ De Sole performers immediately. I think this is a great idea on all counts. It replaces caged animals (I am a member of PETA) and supports the performing arts at the same time. Everyone wins!!!!

I'm wondering if perhaps the Catholic ritual of communion, in which they give you a cracker and tell you that you're eating the flesh of Jesus, stems from a misunderstanding. Maybe someone told them way back when that they should serve Christ, and they took it to mean "Serve Christ...for lunch."

SHOLD women go topless?
okay this past summer I was im MY yard with a guy friend and we had been in the pool so we BOTH were topless and a cop came or someone called him idk which but he gave me a ticket for indescent exposure and we both were topless I eventually got him to throw out the ticket but still it didnt seem right do you think women should be allowed to go topless also

I was wanting to know if Decaff Tea was ok to drink during pregnancy. I don't really drink much fluids, hardly any, I'm not prego yet, but when I am, "Hopefully" can I drink Tea???
It is the only thing I can drink alot of....I love it!

My fiance and I have been together for 10 yrs and have an almost 2 year old son. We've been fighting a lot lately and have had many ups and downs in our relationship. I'm actually always threatening to leave him and have said some horrible things to him during fights. Even though I know we've been fighting... I was totally caught off guard when he told me last night that he doesn't want to be together anymore. He says it's not healthy for our son to be around the fighting and that he has to leave for his own self-respect.

I have many regrets. Despite the fact that I'm always saying I want to end things I've always been afraid of HIM abandoning me.

Now he says he's willing to continue supporting me for the next 3 yrs while I continue school. And when I ask him what's going on he just says "nothings changing" and to not think so much. He also says he'll hang out with my son and I tomorrow. Do you think there's a chance to make things better? What should I do? I'm distraught.
