She will not play in her room upstairs. We have threatened to throw all her toys away, and that didn't work either. I am having her bag them up right now to put "in the trash" (basement, but she will think the trash). Any suggestions?

I started talking to one of the guys i had a crush on about 5 months. he was in between jobs of course that meant he was unemployed i help him get on his feet and child in untill he got on his feet i gave him my car to find a job so he finally got a job now he is acting funny not calling anymore dating other women we never was a couple but we use to do everything to gether we went out town everything his child still comes to my house every week end but he is messing around with some one else he always call me when he need something and he is so sweet

when you first met your wife, did you know you wanted to be with her forever? how soon did you bring up marriage? did you ever have doubts or or commitment phobia?
my boyfriend and i are getting pretty serious but he hasn't brought up marriage at all. he's the type of person who likes to live completely in the present and never want to worry about the future. he's an absolutely wonderful guy, the most caring, understanding, sweet, generous person and i think i'd like to be with him for a very long time. its hard to say FOREVER, but i can definitely see myself with him long enough for marriage to brought up. when we were talking about going over to his family's house for christmas i asked if i should get a gift for his parents because i knew they were getting me a gift and he said "no, that feels too weird, like we're married or something" i'm just wondering if other guys go through phases were they don't consider marriage at all. we're both in our 20's by the way.

I give eveyone else in my sister's family Xmas and birthday gifts, however, I am not fond of my brother-in-law and I know the feeling is mutual from the way he treats me. Should I go ahead and give him gifts for these occasions even though my heart is not in it and it would not be sincere? I want to do the right thing but I don't know what to get him and I have to send the gifts through the mail.

If you are going to answer this question...please read these details to see what I have already tried. Thanks in advance.

My system has two optical drives: a DVD ROM drive and a Multi Drive.

The Multi Drive recognizes disks with data on it, but if I put a blank disk in, it plays dumb. If I try to drag and drop files via My Computer, I get the Drive Inaccessible error.

Disk Management shows the DVD ROM drive and the capacity of the disk, but the Multi Drive shows zip (except that the drive exists...but no capacity, nothing in properties, etc).

It's not the drive itself, as I have interchanged another drive that was sitting around. They both play the same game.

I tried Master/Slave settings, and Cable Select settings. Nothing.

Nothing obvious in BIOS/CMOS either.

Does anybody have any other ideas? This is driving me crazy.

(I already know about coffee but when you have too much of it your body becomes immune to the caffene and this doesnt work anymore. That's what happened with me. Is there any other solution to this?)

I am this 37 1/2 weeks pregnant and i am scared that when the baby is born i will have to eventually leave the baby with the fathers family. He is a drug addict. His family is really supportive and good people. He is not a bad person either but he always tries to get clean but it never lasts for more than a week and i can never believe him. We are obviously not together and i need advice on what to do for the future, to prevent having to leave my baby with the father without going through court. Or how i should even go about dealing with this situation??

People always make mean comments about them and just dismiss people who campaign for animals as silly and say things like they should campaign for real causes...
But why?
Even if you don't like animals why would you want to cause such a harmless and helpless thing pain and suffering?

i spend soo much time on the computer... but there is NOTHING else to do! my friends are all off on vaycay i've cleaned out my closet, baked enough cookies to feed a 3rd world country... hell i even dusted every single little wooden thingy in my blinds. i've memorized the location of every country in the world and the capitals of all 50 states. i feel soo lazy... but how much fun is working out or running alone?

The U.S. Government sells surplus military equipment....everything from vehicles and aircraft to bunks and blankets. I am looking for an unarmed helicopter that seats four to six but it must have the "hours flown log". Having the log is the only way the chopper can be converted to a civilian aircraft. Please, serious resonses only if you know someone or a broker that deals in military surplus.
