Hey join the ranks, been there, done that. The best thing to do is don't react to it. It's totally absurd. Just let him go. He obviously has found some other sucker to be his next victim.

If you willingly let him go and wish him luck in finding happiness, you will really confuse him. In a year or less he will be back and then you will know that he did you a favor. Hopefully by then you will have found a new life for yourself and have pity on him for being so pathetic.

I think that sometimes, People, realize they made a mistake when they find themselves a mate and think it is going to be for eternity, but sometimes one or the other, decides that they made a mistake in getting Married thinking he/she was for always and that is when one or the other is going to get hurt. My guess is that in your case it was not meant to be, so, do not dwell too much and try to make a go on your own, and I am sure that with time you too will realize it was better for both of you, this separation, and you will one day find yourself someone who truly Loves, Respects, and Cares for you, and you will one day will feel relief, about the circumstances the way they happened.
