I'm asking this because I am pregnant. I'm having a girl and my boyfriend and I decided to name her Beatrice. When my aunt asked me if I had picked out a name for the baby, I told her the we had chosen Beatrice. She was shocked by that and felt compelled to tell me not to name my daughter Beatrice because it is an old name and that it would basically make her a target for jokes by other kids. My sister basically had the same reaction when I told her. My boyfriend and I however really like the name and we still plan on naming our baby Beatrice even if family members dislike it. My aunt also had the audacity to run her mouth off about it to my other aunt so then my other aunt put in her two cents about not liking it.

Now Mitt Romney, the Republican presidential candidate, has added another entry to the lexicon of political euphemisms for the blatant fib.

When he said that as a boy he “saw” his father march with the civil rights leader Martin Luther King — a claim debunked yesterday — Mr Romney now says that he used the word “saw” as a figure of speech. Mr Romney said: “If you look at the literature, if you look at the dictionary, the term ‘saw’ includes ‘being aware of’ in the sense I’ve described. I did not see it with my own eyes, but I saw him in the sense of being aware of his participation in that great [civil rights] effort.”

Mr Romney, who seems to be having several “figure of speech” moments on the campaign trail, said in a key speech this month that he had watched his father George Romney, the late Michigan Governor, march with Martin Luther King.

People in my community kill trees to get a better view of the ocean. What chemicals do they use to kill the trees? Someone told me that a copper nail hammered into the tree, will kill it. Im 30wks pregnant at the moment, and sleeping at night hurts 4 me because i like 2 tos and turn a lot. But moving from side 2 side is so painfull that i wake up everytime i need 2 move. It is more my lower spine that aces the most. But then again everything blends in 2 one huge pain. So if u have any ideas on moving around and 4 it to b less pain full please let me know

my wife got a flat. i didn't have time to mess with it so i took it to a tire place. they told me they couldn't find anything wrong. So aired it up put it back on the car. My wife drove it to work the next morning, called said it was flat again. I found a puncture and patched it. trouble is, she drove to work with the tire almost flat. the side wall and has small crack all the way around. no missing rubber chunks, no visible belts, just a hair line crack. the tires will need replaced in spring, and with Christmas here i'd hate to have to buy a new set now. I also don't want to by one new tire then three more in 6 months. will the tire be ok or is it too dangers to risk?

Ok so im fairly new at my secondfary school, i started at the begining of year 10, and im now a term in. But loads of guys have crushes on me, and im not being boastful here. But, if i feel comfortable with a guy, even just as a friend i flirt with them, but then i fuind them feeling akward around me, and either REALLY showing it or telling me they like me. It always TOTALLY destroys the friendship, cause all they want is a relationship and "cant bare it not to be that way", and i feel to akward to talk to them. I didnt lead them on, or at least not on purpose, thats just how i behave around guys.

And then the vice versa...When i like a guy, they just want to be my friend! I THINK i bahave the same, but it doesnt seem to have the same affect...=[

Can anybody help me and give me advice! Thankyou.

I was watching VH1 and they were talking about the top 40 videos of 2007. Matchbox 20's "How Far We've Come" was on the top list, and he was talking about how it will end for Mormons, Catholics, and Atheists and we'll only find out who is right after we're dead. And he said "I put my money on the Mormons"

So is he Mormon, or just saying that?

my name is jordan and i have a sister who is tweleve, she hasnt ever really been a good eater but she is hardly eating anything and my parents are really worried too! The weight is just falling off her and she is a "vegetarian" and doesnt eat anything to do with animals anyway so she is hardly eating anything and we are worried and just don't know what to do, WHAT SHOULD WE DO !!!!?????????????
