If your spouse is not handy, near the work-bench.

If you spouse watches more television than they reads books, then behind books on the bookshelf.

If your spouse is bald, in the cabinet with the hair gel.

If your spouse never does any housework, you can hide it anywhere.

Put it anywhere, but tell your wife that you killed a mouse in that spot. (Better yet, make it two mice.)
