Alright, well i was at the mall with my boyfriend not too long ago and i saw some mens sweaters and thought they were cute and told him. He wasn't crappy or anything but said they weren't his favorite but also that he hadn't wore one in a long time. He also told me that if i bought him one he would wear it and probably like it bc (not to be concieted) but i have a good fashion sense. So i was at Express in the men's section and bought him a striped gray/ white sweater. It's pretty simple.

I just want to know your opinion. Was this a bad choice? Please go into detial

you never see it that well. Now heres a little joke I heard a while ago although many of you probably know it.

Their is a woman who is about to drown in a flash flood, the water is up to her knees. A boat comes along and the guy says,"jump in or your going to drown." But the woman says,"no thanks God will save me." The waters up to her neck and a rescue boat comes along and the guy says,"jump in or your going to drown." Again the lady says,"no thanks God will save me." So finally she's on top of her house and a helicopter comes and the guy says to jump in again but the woman still refuses by saying,"God will save her." Later on she drowns and meets God in heaven and says,"I devoted my life to you,went to church, and prayed to you my entire life why didn't you save me?" And God said,"I sent you 2 boats and a helicopter what else did you want?"

I thought it was a pretty insightful little joke.

I was so excited because my older brothers were coming home from college. But all they do is iratate me! They had got lunch and didnt get me anything then they were like wow that sucks. Then my mom had given them money to get something to eat. And they made me wait until 7pm until they went and got it. I was straving. The whole time they kept singing songs about food and good it was to make me mad. Then today I had to ring a bell for salvation army. They went to give me a hug before I went then they go well I hope you get frostbite Ash. Then last night I was watching tv and they kept bouncing nerf balls off my head until I started screaming at them. Why are they so mean to me? What have I ever done to them? I was so excited to see them and all they do is make fun of me. Is there a way I could get them back?

I'm in Grade 9 Science and all of this electricity stuff is getting on my nerves. I'm particularily confused with voltage. "The potential difference between two points on a curcuit in relation to blah blah blah..."; no, that crap just won't cut it. I don't know what the hell it means. My teacher just shows us the calculations for stuff and doesn't thoroughly explain anything. This is my worst unit yet. Can someone explain to me what these terms mean in a way that I can understand? I want to know a bit about what I'm working with here.

Also, how the heck do batteries work? My teacher goes on about these "cells" with a short line (-) and a long line (+) or something like that... but I have no idea what the heck she's talking about. Does she think we've learned about batteries already or something?

One more thing: Our teacher sais electrons flow out from the "negative terminal" on a battery. What I want to know is: WHY? What goes on inside a battery anyways?
