this week has been rough, and i usually try and stay positive but this time i just cant seem to shake this. i found out the guy i liked was using me until the girl he really wanted came back from another country. then i found out that my ex only told me that he cared and missed me b/c of problems he was having w/ his current gf (they're fine now, so he doesnt speak to me). i also got fired from my job, where i was making decent money, right before the holidays. then to top it all off, the aforementioned guys work at the place that i am now currently employed full time. my heart is being torn up and my bff told me that i "deserved it" because i let myself fall for these men. (meanwhile, she's engaged to the first guy she ever really dated). i hate playing the sympathy card, b/c i know there are so many worse things in the world. but i just cant seem to pull myself out of this pain. any useful advice please?

This question I believe warrants discussion because the bases of the Christian's faith hangs upon this one factor.

In Deuteronomy 24:16, it clearly states children has to pay for their own sins and not the sins of their parents, so why is it that we are sinners because of the sins of Adam and Eve?

I am 26 years old. Got out of an 11 year relationship 3 months ago and a 2 month relationship 1 week ago. My bf of 2 months ended it abruptly even though we had strong feelings for each other and now won't even answer my calls and I mreally miss him. I am TERRIFIED of being alone. Since my 11 year relationship ended and I have to pay my bills alone, I have gotten myself into debt. I don't have any real friends and any friends or family i do have do like to be around me b/c i have a lot of anxiery and worry a lot. This life just seems way too daunting. I feel so alone. All day I've been trying to stop myself from doing it but the pain is just too much right now.

How do vets determine illness/ disorder such as?
Like.. a disease if they're diabetic do they need to take blood samples? Because when my vet took my exam on my dog they just checked the body, eyes, ears, mouth, weight and structure.. I thought they take blood tests too this was $49.99 exam we're talking about. How do they determine illnesses (besides kennel cough I know how they do)

My girlfriend of 2 years and I broke up 3 months ago, mainly to get space, but knowing we would get back together. A week after this she wanted to get back, and i did too, but i said we should take some more time to fix what we needed to. she was upset and said she wanted me back. 2 days later she went to see her ex , and after this, she didn't want to get back, saying she needed to be single. over the course of the next month i begged for her back, sent her flowers, did everything i could. she was different, told me she didn't love me and to move on. we were at the same party one night, and i decided to try to move on, so i talked to other girls. one girl was on my arm flirting, and my ex flipped out, screaming at me and calling me an asshole. later she came to my apartment to see if i was sleeping with her (which i wasn't). after this she wanted to hang out again and so we did. the next 2 weeks went well until she told me she had slept with her ex 2 weeks before.

I've heard of some universities banning the use of laptops in class, their argument being that students don't pay attention.

Laptops get the job done with ease and organization. As far as I'm concerned, *I* am paying for the class, and if the professor can't keep my interest, is that my fault? Opinions?

she said that she want to have a college experience and make new friends. Also she want to focus on school and make up her mind about what she really want to do in college. she said that she want to end things between us in a good way. she said that she still likes me. She said that she is not ready for a relationship yet. she said that she is deppending on me too much. the thing is that i really like her and she really likes me, but she believe that this is what she have to do. i am her first real relationship that she ever had. Also i took her virginity and she was my best friend. The thing that i want know is should i still talk to her as a friend or completely do not talk to her at all. if i talk to her i am going to still have feelings for her. I do not want to give her part of me, I want to give her the entire me. i feel like if i give her part of me (which is friendship), she will get too comfortable with it and later on do not want to go back out with me. What should i do?
