Hey. So I always see the guy of my dreams, nice and funny, in passing. I usually only see him that one time then he is gone. How can I get his attention or talk to him without it making it seem stalkerish? For a girl in college.

I have been given/ have figured out:
the boyant force, the mass of the air in the balloon, the mass of the load, the volume of the balloon, the temperature of the surrounding air, the atmospheric pressure, the density of the air, and air molar mass.
but i dont know how to find what the air temperature must be to lift the balloon and load. Help?? her's the question:

A hot air balloon stays aloft because hot air at atmospheric pressure is less dense than cooler air at the same pressure. If the volume of the balloon is 500m^3 and the surrounding iar is at 15 degrees C, what must the temperature of the air in the balloon be for it to lift the total load of 290 kg(in addition to the mass of the hot air)? The density of air at 15 degrees C and atmpospheric pressure 1.013 x 10^5 Pa is 1.23Kg/m^3. Air molar mass is 29g/mol. Present your answer in Fahrenheits rounded to the whole number.

Why is it that people in this Jesus-era were all able to talk to God, and now no one is getting any commandments from any mountains or anything? I want an answer that you really believe...because it sounds ridiculous.

I looked at an apartment that was advertised at $725 in the newspaper (shown by a real estate agent) but when we asked about the rent the agent said that it is $775. There are 3 units available in the building (all the same floor and layout) and the agent said that he thinks the landlord will go as low as $750 for one of the apartments because of the carpet (it has ugly burgundy carpet throughout while the rest have beige).

My question is: are rental prices negotiable? I would really like to move to this building, but the price is not what I was expecting. Would I talk to the agent, or would I need to go straight to the landlord? The agent was surprised when we told him that it was listed at $725 and he said that it must have been for another apartment that was recently rented. I really doubt that that is the case because the description matches perfectly. Any thoughts? Thanks!!

My friend & I are having a bet, but since we can't go around testing the theory, I though it best to ask here.

What exactly happens when you slash/stab a car's tire? Is there a difference between stabbing the treads vs. the white wall?

Also, is there anything hazardous about it, like pieces of rubber flying out from the internal pressure?

Not sure how many people know about this, but I figure someone has to work at an auto body shop or Discount Tire...

You have a square cam, and an accentric, circular cam - bulging from the shaft. If you traced the up and down (SHM?) movement of the follower against a moving strip of paper, in what respects would the traces differ from each other, seeing that one cam is sharp and pointy and the other is smooth and circular. In both cases there is a regular changing of a ('radius' ?), but how would you describe this mathematically..?

I was watching an episode of Family Guy the other night and the little montage before the opening sequence had that artist that use to be on PBS. The guy who could make anything out of basically nothing.

He said "Now we're just gonna add a happy little bush right here. And if you tell anybody, that that bush is there i will come to your house and I WILL CUT YOU!"

Who is that guy?

When I was in basic training the gay guys got the ol' "blanket party" in the middle of the night. It was pretty brutal. Why would a gay guy wanna take the chance of getting beat up on a constant basis just because he doesn't fit into civilian life? Gays don't bother me, but most dudes get freaked out by that stuff. No heterosexual man would defend a gay from a gang of angry homophobes.
