I couldn't agree more....

I guess it makes some insecure people feel more superior.

Recently, as close as approx.12 months ago, I joined a very popular pay financial web site because of that very same reason EXCEPT someone accessed my account internally and said they had never understood anything I had ever posted, which prompted some words as follows: Fellows investor's I have never since I was shot thru my brain in Viet Nam, Have I ever been so "HUMILIATED" in my entire life... sheesh!!!! and to just THINK once upon a time, what both my generation did on behalf of this country! "to have someone correcting my grammar.... " and YES I am sick of it as well. So I would just attempt to convey the following ...Think outside of the box.

Unless the person types like a complete retard (Wat is the bes fil uve sawed? is an example) a spelling slip or forgeting to type a word is fine. We all do it so the Mr. Piguts of the world (English Teacher I had in 10th grade that took off 10 points for forgeting a comma) need to calm down and realize we aren't writing a formal essay here.

I just hates it when some-body comes along and thinks that he knows better thanyou. The English langauge is just designed for communication like no other langauge could be.
Verbs aren't where it's at. On the other hand there're things you can't really say using English.
Bad as it is, people really catch on to it when they come here; at leasts most do. At least they learn the monetary system.

If it's just some simple grammar and spelling, it's okay for me. But if it doesn't make any sense at all.. don't expect me to help them by answering the question when I don't understand it at all! That's the whole point of "Spell Check". Can't they just use it to make other people's like more easier?

Yes i hate when people worry about correct grammar on here. if someone can say something and get their point across then it dznt matter how its spelled. The ones worried about it are the ones wasting their time.

It wouldn't be so bad if those people also answered the question before or after they prudently corrected grammar and spelling as I do very often. You may check my profile and questions I've answered if you doubt me. BTW it's criticism. LMAO because you noticed it first! Shame-shame-shame.

I am a stickler for grammar and spelling but I would never think of pointing this out to other peoples messages. Each to their own I say.

I'm not nearly as bad as I could be. I only correct if something is written so poorly as to make it impossible to figure out what the question is supposed to be.
Don't you think your answers might be taken more seriously if you sound as if you know what you're talking about? Don't you think grammar will be important when you (younger YA folks) enter the work force?
I, for one, am embarrassed if I look back over my answers and find mistakes.
