On sunday, I was busy with so much work that I didnt get into bed untill 4am. I couldnt wake up the next morning to go back to the routine of getting myself and my daughter ready for work and child care. So, at last minute at 7am, I decided to just stay home. I had already gotten up and started to get ready, but decided against it, so instead of getting back in bed with my husband, I decided to stay on the couch( not to disturb his sleep). At 8am, someone was at my door, they rang once, than twice, therefore I had to get up and when I got to the door, a girl was at my door claiming to be asking for someone whose doesnt live at my home. Red flags flared up. 8AM Wrong Door...okay. I found it odd, and didnt want to think the worst. But seconds later, my husband phone was ringing. Dumb. So naturally, I ck his phone and answered it..hung up. So, I continued to ck his phone overall. And the same person that hung up , is the same person that text, to say, I am here. I waited.

A man came in my office today saying he don't celebrate Christmas because December 25th isn't Jesus Birthday it was a day that ladies had festival on, and Jesus Birthday was in October, so if Jesus Birthday was in October why do you believe ppl go about saying false stories and if his birthday was in October why aren't we celebrating christmas in October?

On food packages the products say total fat, under that is listed saturated, polyunsaturated, monounsaturated and trans fats, but the total doesn't add up. So where's the hidden fat? What type is it? I've asked several places and no one seems to know.

Yesterday we got a science assignment that we have to write down every single thing we eat until Thursday, including calories and fat content.

I really really don't feel comfortable with this at all. I seriously do not want her knowing what I'm eating. I know this sounds like I'm stuck up or I have an eating disorder or something, but I'm going through a really stressful time right now and I'm hardly eating anything at all. My parents and a lot of people in my school already think I'm anorexic and I don't need them to think that they have more proof. Should I tell my teacher or just stick it out and go along with it?

i just got out of a 6 year realtionship , actually my highschool sweetheart ever since i was 16. she has now turned 21 dumped me for another guy and times are pretty tough! All my freinds who i thought were my freinds have turned there back on me and i litterally have no one in my life right now im actually have to start over from scratch with freinds i have known for ever and my life as i know it! is there ne one that has known anyone in a similar sitiuation or anyone that has been in that sitiutation and how should i deal with it how to meet new freinds and so forth please help! im now 22 and just want to live my life i know i can come back from this i just need to realize it! thanks

And I mean physically resemble...as in you look like them. :) And I don't mean spitting image, separated-at-birth look-alikes...someone who is close.

When this question popped into my head this morning it occured to me that I, in all fairness, should try to come up with someone that I resemble...that was tough! I think I decided that I look like a more updated Karen Carpenter in her healthier days. (poor Karen...seriously)

Good morning all. Serious question about church names, I have always been a bit confused about the "First" that is found on many protestant church names. Such as:
First Baptist
First Methodist
First Christian
etc, etc, etc

My question is twofold:

First, What is the purpose of the title? What does it mean?

Second, if you are at a church that has this in the name, how do you feel about it, in light of Mt 20:16 "So the last shall be first, and the first last"

Lately my 4 1/2 month old shih tzu has been scratching like crazy. I have been bathing her once a week and think this may be causing her skin to dry so I am trying to wait longer. As far as fleas I am giving her the pill type flea medication so I hope that is not the issue. I check her regularly and haven't found any fleas nor any red patches of skin. She does come everywhere with me even work. This is why I felt the need to bathe her weekly. I think her diet is fine since I've had her she has been eating royal canin puppy food. If I have bathed her too much and need to moisturize her skin what can I use. This is my first experience with a long haired breed and was wondering if part of this is just their nature?? I brush her every night and have had her trimmed twice. Any suggestions???

So about a month ago, i got a new mini PC. It worked fine up until last night when i stretched my legs out, and knocked over the stand that it was on. The computer was on when it fell on its back and then it turned off, and now it wont turn on. I tried taking the cover off and checking around inside it for anything that may have come loose, but i dont know what im doing in there so im not sure if anything happened. The PC is a shuttle mini PC that a friend of mine built himself, if thats of any importance.

Just wondering, why do adults not believe in santa but do believe in god? there is the same amount of evidence for both, 0. Is is just because others do?? So its kind of like a chain effect.. say 9 people believe so one must to fit in.

I'm confused about the differences of these two countries. I put it out in the public forum to, maybe, get an unbiased answer/definition. I was under the impression that the 2 countries were the same (odd as that may sound!) Obviously they are not! What are the geographical bounderies of the two? Is there a specific language identified with each, and if so, what is it?
Please don't take my innocent questions as a start of some idealogic war. That is not the intent. I would just like to clear up, in my mind, who/what/where these two (really one?) countries are.
