If I think he likes me by driving around my house or tries to talk to me once at the pharmacy (I didn't have time to talk to him), should I go ahead to talk to him at his shop even though I went there twice three years ago? He never asked me out yet. I am not sure if he is interested in me, but he asked my mom about me last year when she was in his shop. What can I do? I am confused.

Ever since I've been a kid, once in a while I will see what looks like (for lack of a better descriptor) heat waves, but in the middle of the sky. They are in a circular shape and seem to be sucked into themselves in the center of the circle. What could this be? I only see this on brighter days, never at night, and both in the city and the country.

I know that there are smaller things than atoms!!!

...but its a concept of indivisible space. Is there an equivalent in time?

If not why was/is space considered to be indivisible at the smallest point and time not?

This test only has one question, but it's a very important one. By giving an honest answer, you will discover where you stand morally. The test features an unlikely, completely fictional situation in which you will have to make a decision. Remember that your answer needs to be honest, yet spontaneous. Please scroll down slowly and give due consideration to each line.

You are in Florida, Miami to be specific. There is chaos all around you caused by a hurricane with severe flooding. This is a flood of biblical proportions. You are a photojournalist working for a major newspaper, and you're caught in the middle of this epic disaster. The situation is nearly hopeless. You're trying to shoot career-making photos. There are houses and people swirling around you, some disappearing under the
water. Nature is unleashing all of its destructive fury.

Suddenly you see a man floundering in the water. He is fighting for his life, trying not to be taken down with the debris. You move closer... somehow the man looks familiar. You suddenly realize who it is. It's George W. Bush! At the same time you notice that the raging waters are about to pull him under.

You have two options-you can save the life of G.W. Bush or you can shoot a dramatic Pulitzer Prize winning photo, documenting the death of one of the world's most powerful men.

So here's the question, and please give an honest answer :

Would you select high contrast color film, or would you go with the classic simplicity of black and white?

I'm planning a trip in the US to see a friend, (2 weeks) and I was offered to go anywhere I want...problem is, I don't know much about the US and I'm sure there are LOADS of beautiful places to choose from, which I don't know about! So, to all American people and whoever knows the US at all, would you offer input? I would like to see more country/nature than big cities, alhtough I will be seeing Chicago as I'll land there.
Hot springs would be a plus :>

It makes me so angry when I hear people talking about Al Gore's work on informing people about global warming, and they're saying that global warming isn't real. That it's fake. How can they not see the changes. Hurricane Katrina might not have been so disaterous if the waters that it came into weren't so warm. If you are someone who doesn't believe that global warming is real or you ave any doubts at all that this is not something to worry about, watch Al Gore's documentary, An Inconvenient Truth. This opened my eyes to how truly devestating global warming is going to be if we don't stop, and do something about it. What are your thoughts? Have you seen this documentary? If so was it as eye opening for you as it was for me?? I WANT YOUR THOUGHTS ON THIS TOPIC!!!

There is a lot pilots have to take into account when hulling your a*s across the sky...

1. Every takeoff is optional. Every landing is mandatory.

2. If you push the stick forward, the houses get bigger. If you pull the stick back, they get smaller. That is, unless you keep pulling the stick all the way back, then they get bigger again.

3. Flying isn't dangerous. Crashing is what's dangerous.

4. It's always better to be down here wishing you were up there than up there wishing you were down here.

5. The ONLY time you have too much fuel is when you're on fire.

6. The propeller is just a big fan in front of the plane used to keep the pilot cool. When it stops, you can actually watch the pilot start sweating.

7. When in doubt, hold on to your altitude. No one has ever collided with the sky.

8. A 'good' landing is one from which you can walk away. A 'great' landing is one after which they can use the plane again.

9. Learn from the mistakes of others. You won't live long enough to make all of them yourself.

10. You know you've landed with the wheels up if it takes full power to taxi to the ramp.

11. The probability of survival is inversely proportional to the angle of arrival. Large angle of arrival, small probability of survival and vice versa.

12. Never let an aircraft take you somewhere your brain didn't get to five minutes earlier.

13. Stay out of clouds. The silver lining everyone keeps talking about might be another airplane going in the opposite direction. Reliable sources also report that mountains have been known to hide out in clouds.

14. Always try to keep the number of landings you make equal to the number of take offs you've made.

15. There are three simple rules for making a smooth landing. Unfortunately no one knows what they are.

16. You start with a bag full of luck and an empty bag of experience. The trick is to fill the bag of experience before you empty the bag of luck.

17. Helicopters can't fly; they're just so ugly the earth repels them.

18. If all you can see out of the window is ground that's going round and round and all you can hear is commotion coming from the passenger
compartment, things are not at all as they should be.

19. In the ongoing battle between objects made of aluminum going hundreds of miles per hour and the ground going zero miles per hour, the ground has yet to lose.

20. Good judgment comes from experience. Unfortunately, the experience usually comes from bad judgment.

21. It's always a good idea to keep the pointy end going forward as much as possible.

22. Keep looking around. There's always something you've missed.

23. Remember, gravity is not just a good idea. It's the law. And it's not subject to repeal.

24. The four most useless things to a pilot are the altitude above you, runway behind you, gas back at the airport, and a tenth of a second ago.

25. There are old pilots and there are bold pilots. There are, however, no old, bold pilots.

I purchased the latest version which is MS office professional 2007 because I must have Access as an application. I hate the new tool bars on top of the application. It's a waste of my time to have to learn a new User interface just because I bought a new computer!

Is there an option on this softwate that will enable the familar interface, i.e. File, Edit, ........?

Thanks,

I have been looking into christianity for sometime now, but recently due to the exposure of some famous televangelists my faith was shook to to the core. If these men and women of God who I looked up to were not living by Gods word, what's to say that God is even real?
That was my initial thought.

Then I began looking into buddhist teachings and have to say that I found them really insightful and more easy to understand than a lot of text in the bible and have found them really helpful in my life.
My question is, do you think Buddhism contradicts someone pursuing Christianity. Can they work hand in hand or are the teachings too different to work together.

This must be the most disgusting repoert I have seen for a long time. The government keep shouting about getting us back to work and super new projects to help and then they give it all to people who should not be here, I will say once again, There is just not enough space in Britain for the whole bloody world. Start to look after us and ours first.
