Yesterday we got a science assignment that we have to write down every single thing we eat until Thursday, including calories and fat content.

I really really don't feel comfortable with this at all. I seriously do not want her knowing what I'm eating. I know this sounds like I'm stuck up or I have an eating disorder or something, but I'm going through a really stressful time right now and I'm hardly eating anything at all. My parents and a lot of people in my school already think I'm anorexic and I don't need them to think that they have more proof. Should I tell my teacher or just stick it out and go along with it?

When I say "her" I mean my teacher.

No seriusly I hope things go well with you and so yeah

I'd suggest to go ahead and do this right off the bat, to get it off your chest. If you're desperate and don't eat often, make stuff up! It's not like they have a camera with you xD

It's just an assignment. Play the game. I don't think there is a hidden agenda. That said...if you're stressed and not eating you need to address the issue. Try to destress and get back to normal. It's more stressful not eating than eating for health. The saying "Don't live to eat, but eat to live" goes a long way.

make stuff up.. put three random meals down that would most likely be in your refigerator and cabinet in your house or school lunch or w/e. Oh ya and start eating. Youll feel better, gain some weight and excersice, working out is a HUGE destresser in the long run.

I think that you should just talk to your teacher alone and ask if you could do another project besides this for the same grades and just explain to her why you do not want to do it, if they do not agree with you not doing the project talk to your parents about it and they could tell the teacher and explain why for you if you feel embarassed about it which you really shouldn't be as it is a medical condition.

Tell the teacher how you feel and maybe she will let you have a different assignment to make up the points. You never know if you don't ask!

i remember i had to do something like that. my advise is you should start eating. not eating is soo bad for your body. people have died from not eating. anyway as far as this project goes, put down everything that you do eat, and then add a few extra things. as long as your above 1000 calories right around 1500 no one is going to say anything.

I would do the assignment honestly, and then pay attention to any potential problems it might show. I don't know why you're stressin', but you need to be good to yourself and keep up proper nutrition to guard your immune system, which is more vulnerable when you are stressed. good luck, and take care. peace
