So about a month ago, i got a new mini PC. It worked fine up until last night when i stretched my legs out, and knocked over the stand that it was on. The computer was on when it fell on its back and then it turned off, and now it wont turn on. I tried taking the cover off and checking around inside it for anything that may have come loose, but i dont know what im doing in there so im not sure if anything happened. The PC is a shuttle mini PC that a friend of mine built himself, if thats of any importance.

Best guess, the hard drive is toast and / or other components or cables were jarred loose.

DO NOT try to use it again, until it's been repaired.

"The PC is a shuttle mini PC that a friend of mine built himself" - Ask your friend to look at it. or take it in for service elsewhere.

Shuttles are pieces of shite anyway. Have your friend or a tech reseat everything (graphics card, cpu & mem, power supply connections, etc). It doesn't sound as if that short a fall could have done that much damage, but you never know........

it could be tons of things. it sounds like the hardware was damaged or got loose. without being able to see it in front of me your best bet is to have the friend who built it look at it or a professional.
