On food packages the products say total fat, under that is listed saturated, polyunsaturated, monounsaturated and trans fats, but the total doesn't add up. So where's the hidden fat? What type is it? I've asked several places and no one seems to know.

food manufactures are allowed to round down values of nutrients. so if a serving of food contains 2.5 grams of fats the manufacturer is allowed by law to change that to 2 grams of fats per serving.
