I am in the final phases of my divorce and currently co own the home that I currently live in. I get to keep the home if I can qualify for a mortgage on my own. I do not need to take cash out to give it to him at this time. My question is- is there a way to remove a spouse from a mortgage and deed without having to refinance? Perhaps giving the bank the divorce decree, etc? We are in a adjustable rate mortgage that I would like to take advantage of the new plan that is soon to be available to freeze the introductory rate.

In the summer I got a new, fairly budget Toshiba L40 laptop from PC World with Vista installed. I have a problem that's getting worse - sometimes when I'm playing video I get the blue screen of death, it doesnt happen every time I'm watching something but it happens fairly frequently and only ever crashes when there's a browser with a video playing.
Someone suggested to me to see if I had the latest driver downloaded, I know what video card it is but is it ok to just download another driver since there must already be one installed? And is it possible that PCWorld (yeah i know they're crap) sell laptops with the wrong/not sufficient driver installed?? Or can you think of another reason for this problem

Why should anyone else like Atheists, Jews, Mormons, Buddhists etc, be allowed to celebrate a Christian holiday? He's our Jesus, why should they get to enjoy his birthday too.

Its ten past midnight where I am and we were at a work party at lunch time today and I drank too much and feel really sick. I have been drinking water, I ate a cracker, I threw up, I tried to sleep but nothing is helping, My brain wont switch off and I just feel so sick, How can I stop feeling like puking so I can go to sleep, cant I take anti-nausea tablets or not?

We bought this chest type freezer in March or April. It has made this noise since day one. Once the compresor turns off , you can hear the freezer making bubbling noises. I have had the warranty repair company check it out. This guy tried to tell me that todays units don't have as much insulation as they used to have so they are louder. I do plumbing and mechanical work so I know a little about A/C systems and if we installed one that made this much noise, we could not label it normal. I have to admit that I have no experience with refridgerators and freezers, but a cooling system of any kind should not be popping and bubbling, right? Am I getting jerked around?

I always wondered if you put Eyedrops in someones drink if it will make them sick? Everyone had told me that it would. So I bought a pop drank some of it, Put 2 small drops of eyedrops in it, and waited for someone to ask for a drink. Well I totally forgot about it and one of my friends drank the pop. Well my other friend said that the eyedrops will get in your blood stream and cause you to stop breathing. Of course I am realy scared. As of lastnight this person is still alive. Should I be worried? Or does it just make them have a stomach ache? We put them in our eyes so they must not be to dangerous right...? !HELP ME!

From aboriginal Australians to tribal Africans to American Indians to ancient Egyptians . . . they've all created gods prolifically and with ease. That man creates gods is a well-known, indisputable fact.

But what about the opposite? God creating man? We DON'T know that he did. We have no evidence that he did. We have no reason to think that he did. All the evidence points to evolution over the course of billions of years. There's growing evidence that life originated from abiogenesis -- from an electro-chemical reaction in the primordial soup of early Earth.

So, with countless thousands of gods to man's credit, believers are in the untenable position of asserting that all the gods that came before and after theirs are false . . . but their own god (and religion) is real and true. Asserting that one's own god is real, when we know that man created all the others, is ridiculous. It is so unlikely that we can safely consider it delusional.

How do you rationalize your god/religion?

My nine page essay on the first explorers of America is due Monday. The past three days I haven't been able to write a thing because I'm stuck on a thesis, in my opinion, the hardest part of the essay. I wanted it to be: The determination of the people from around the world set the groundwork for our nation.

How does that sound? I started having trouble proving my thesis. Informing my readers about the explorers and the places they claimed...a cinch. But what am I supposed to write about how they set the groundwork? All they did was discover land and claim it for other countries...no motive to make a great independant nation.

Should I change my thesis yet again?!
