I don't think 120 is that bad, but she could lose about 10, for health reasons, you should tell her it's not about looks, it's about her personality. And it's how she feels, I'm 5'4 and 123lb, after 3 kids, and it's really hard to lose the weight, but I feel like I should lose 5 more lb then I'd feel better. So it's really about how she feels, if she feels tired walking up the stairs and she feels like she should lose a little then go for it, but going down to 80 or 90lbs that's really skinny and unhealthy. Hope this helps!!

She's not even fat for her height. Maybe she could lose like 10 pounds, but I would not suggest more than that unless she wants to look like a skeleton. Just tell her no pop or foods high in sugar. Walk 3 miles a day. I know it sounds like alot, but it only takes about 40 minutes going at a good pace and it really does wonders.

Don't help her do that, it would be very underweight!
Just say to her if she could just to tone up and eat a diet high in protein, but do not encourage her to lose that sort of weight, it's ridiculous not to mention dangerous.
And for the record, unless her body fat percentage is too high then 120lb is a perfectly normal, healthy weight for that height....80lb-100lb is not!

She isn't fat even at her height. She should weigh between a100-110. Now if she was 140-150, she'd be gettting overweight.

simple, walk with her, everyday, that is exercise, not physically stressful, and it's exercise for you as well, you can walk and talk about things. just walking an hour a day will bring her metabolism up a bit, and talking with her may help her as well, she's not "obese", my prom date was 5'2" and 135. maybe she needs reassurance on herself.
