I accidentally put this question in philosophy but I would like RS to consider this.
I want you to really give this some thought. I know you want physical right here, right now evidence but consider that a Spiritual being such as God can effect our reality much the same way that we do only He does it on a much higher plane. Let me give you an example, everything from powerful microchips to sleek automobiles to the space shuttle start out as invisible absolutely non tangible thoughts and images in someone's mind but take a look around and marvel at the sky scrappers and bridges that span miles upon miles. All of this, from something absolutely intangible and invisible. Is it much more difficult to visualize God as the Ultimate

I was driving behind a police car which stopped for several red lights. The raised brake lights in the rear window stayed off the whole time. The brake lights near the turn signals either stayed off the whole time (including when braking) or on the whole time (including while not braking). I could not tell which because it was night and they look like taillights (which were on). No brake lights went on or off the whole time.

Do they disable the brake lights so that criminals cannot tell when they are stopping, or was there something wrong with this police car?

I downloaded so many videos off of Veoh that it took up all the room on my hard drive and one day when I turned my computer on, everything was gone, but it says my hard drive is full still. So I'm guessing my videos are still somewhere on my computer, but I can't find them. What is going on?

my family is pretty religious, (we are Catholic) but don't get me wrong i love God. I believe in him im just searching and i don't like going to church anymore AT ALL.
our priest isn't the best in the world, and i think we should have bibles by our seats, which we don't.
i just don't really know what to do because my parents don't want to switch churches because we have been there for a long time. it's a big church though, alot of people we don't know.
but... like every week i say i dont want to go....and my mom sometimes plays piano at the services so she HAS to go...but they make me go........
my brother is 12 years older than me (im 16) and he NEVER goes to church anymore....after he moved out he hasn't gone since.
....but what would you do????

I've always been interested in eating it. I'm in NYC and I did a search online and there are only a handful of Japanese restaurants that serve it, maybe 15 places.

Have any of you actually ate it before? Is it safe when prepared properly? I've heard people feel a numbness of the tongue which gives this fish the exquisite taste; caused from minute doses of the poison not enough to cause harm.

I have 10 years practical work experience in my field. I recently left my old job and in the interviewing process I find that recruiters and HR persons are eliminating me from the pool without further investigation or interview simply because I did not go to a top 25 school. My school is ABA accredited and my work history and experience is top notch. What's the problem and how do I get around this?

Within hours of Madeleines disappearance the McCanns began making calls to their family and friends to inform them of the "abduction". They told these friends that the shutters on the window had been jemmied and that the doors to the apartment had been locked. These friends when speaking to the press drove this point home to the reporters, four independant people repeating what they had been told by the McCanns. Later, when the PJ revealed that there was no sign of a break in the McCanns changed their story and said that the doors had been left open. Why did the McCanns lie to their friends?
