I downloaded so many videos off of Veoh that it took up all the room on my hard drive and one day when I turned my computer on, everything was gone, but it says my hard drive is full still. So I'm guessing my videos are still somewhere on my computer, but I can't find them. What is going on?

If you're using Microsoft Windows NT/XP/Vista, check the Event Viewer. Perhaps that will give you some clue.

Or, use chkdsk from the Command Line.
To find out the options available in chkdsk, type: chkdsk /?

Use the options that you want to use.

Perhaps chkdsk will fix an error that is making the videos unreadable. Or, perhaps it will wreak havoc and free up the sectors where the videos are (essentially erasing them from your computer's hard disk drive).

In future, please, please, please back up your data to external media (such as recordable CDs, recordable DVDs, thumb drives, or external hard disk drives). It is so much easier than having to go through the pain of diagnosing file-loss problems.
