Hi. I have a stylesheet in which I want to add the website header and a photo that will then appear on every page of my site. I have tried using the background-image declaration but for me it doesn´t work. Apart from wanting the header (a .gif) and the photo on each page, I also want to make some text, a backbutton and the menu appear on each page. I am new to CSS and basically, just need to find out how to write/input these items just ONCE in the stylesheet instead of having to repeat the same thing on each page.

Man wakes up in hospital, bandaged from head to foot. The doctor comes in and says 'Ah, I see you've regained consciousness. Now you probably won't remember, but you were in a pile-up on the motorway.' 'You're going to be OK, you'll walk again, everything seems to be OK, but something happened. I'm trying to break this gently to you, but your willy was chopped off in the wreck and we were unable to find it.'
Now the bloke groans a bit but the doctor goes on, 'You've got £9,000 compensation coming to you and we have the technology now to build you a new willy that will work as well as your old one did, better in fact. But the thing is, it doesn't come cheap. It's a thousand pounds an inch.'
The bloke perks up at this.
'So the thing is' the doctor says, 'it's for you to decide how many inches you want. But it's something you'd better discuss with your wife. I mean, if you had a five inch one before and you decide to go for a nine incher she might be a bit put out. But if you had a nine inch one before and you decide only to invest in a five incher this time she might be disappointed. So it's important that she plays a role in helping you make the decision.'
So the bloke agrees to talk with his wife and the doctor comes back the next day.
'So' says the doctor 'Have you spoken with your wife?'
'I have.' says the fellow.
'And has she helped you in making the decision?'
'She has' says the bloke.
'And what is it?' asks the doctor...

okay well my and my guy have been going out for 10 months yesterday was our 10 month anniversary and he didnt call last time i called to him was on monday and he told me he was having family problems and thats y he didnt call me ove the weekend okay soo we havent talked since monday and iuno what to do anymore i havent called him cuase i dont wanna seem like im on him cuase hell man would it really hurt him to call for like 2 seconds and be like oo hey um sorry i haven't been calling ive been busy or somthin ya know but hell we haven't talked since Monday and its Saturday he has boxing practice on Monday-Friday and he doesn't get home till 1030 and on Friday to Sunday he has work and supposedly he doesn't get off till 1230 iuno what should i do

Her phone has been turned off because she did not pay the bill and now it looks like her internet service is gone as well. I would like to hear from both sides about their experiences wiht David's Bridal. My sister in law is getting married and wants me to get my daughter's dress from there. Ok, I really don't see what the big deal is about "Happy Holidays". Is anyone actually saying "Happy Holidays unless you celebrate Christmas in which case I hope your Christmas tree catches on fire and your nativity scene spontaneously combusts"? Isn't Christmas a holiday? So, wouldn't that mean that "Happy Holidays" INCLUDES Christmas?

I really don't care which one a person says to me, but I just don't get why people are so up in arms about someone saying "Happy Holidays". There are other holidays this time of year. In fact, all my life I thought "Happy Holidays" meant "Merry Christmas and Happy New Year".

Could someone please explain why this is so offensive?
