There's actually a test on the website you can use to determine your daemon. Mine was a chimp.

A Panther or Leopard.
I haven't seen the movie yet but I read the trilogy. On a side note, it's spelled "Daemon", and it's the idea of a higher spiritual self (similar to a soul but not exactly equivalent). The ancient Greeks actually believed in a Daemon. Socrates once said he considered speaking to his Daemon to be the best form of divination he knew. So the idea of a Daemon is a very old concept.

I didn't watch it, but are these Demons good things? Like Spirit Guides, Guardian Angels, Fetches?
If so, mine is a Large Albino Winged Snake.
on that test I got a female Ocelot named Aditi

I never really thought about it, but I took a test one time that said my spirit animal would be a cougar. So I vote for a cougar for me. (But she'd better not be as smart-aleck-y as some of the daemons in the books!)

There is no such thing as a demon, perhaps those who believe in them need to study the scriptures more....there are none in the Old Testament..and the word demon in the New Testament was an idiom to describe 'illness, sin, idolatry' and the like. Hebrews always used concrete words to represent abstract things...for example..God is either slow to 'anger'..or slow to 'nose', the Hebrew word for anger.

hmmm... cat? Maybe... but I think they would talk back too much....
Rat? more possible... they are a happy bunch... and they are fairly congenial... they are likely to do as they are told....
I don't really dig ferrets... they stink...
A hawk would be cool... a kestrel hawk... something small, but it could fly... and could catch me yummy rabbits.... mmm hasenpfeffer...
I think I would go with a rat or hawk.
