I'd shoot the dumbass. If that didn't work, I'd try something stronger.
What right does a god who makes no effort whatsoever to convince me that he's real have to punish me for not believing that he's real? If the god you're describing here really did exist, he deserves to be killed. He's an immoral moron. And since I'm already better than him, I don't see how he could have anything to offer me.
Now, what would Christians do if god came down to Earth to punish believers? That's far more likely and sensible.

I don't believe the Bible is real.
Why are you so focused on non-Christians being punished? Is it really your concern for our behalf, or is it the desire to see us convert to your religion?
If there were any physical evidence for gods from the past 14.7 billion years, I want to know about it. Even if it's an angry and hateful god. Let me put it this way. My atheism is a lack of belief in any gods due to a lack of evidence. If you guys could rustle up some real evidence of the supernatural, instead of watered down hate speech, then your religion could potentially have merit.
By the way, my view of Yahweh in the Old Testament is consistent with the guy above me. What makes you think a universe with a billion galaxies and not a scrap of evidence for gods makes you believe that a god is out there who is determined to see people to hate or exterminate one another over religious intolerance. What's wrong with simply tolerating others, promoting scientific reasoning, and learning to get along?

If your God came to Earth to punish non-believers, I would use all available means to oppose and eventually exterminate Him. Christianity is nothing but an evil farce -- the cosmic joke of the ages. God has made no effort whatsoever to unambiguously demonstrate His actual existence in the physical realm. He therefore has no moral justification to harm any human being, living or dead. Since the God of Abraham is a vicious mass murderer who has allowed the religion created in His name to become a plague upon humanity, He deserves nothing more than to be utterly forgotten by his countless victims. The last thing the human species needs is another tyrannical superstitious psychopath inflicting His unspeakable evil on peaceful gentle people who have harmed no one.

I'd feel like challenging such an entity on moral grounds: why did you insist on making your belief-system(s) so practically unreasonable in so many instances and so ridiculous unbelievable in others? To have made humans capable of rational thought, only to finally overturn the "gift of reason" with irrational supernatural causation is not only unethical, but a bad joke. You should be ashamed, god. Really.
Yep, that's what I'd do.

Pascal's Wager again!
Christians sometimes proffer Pascal’s Wager (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pascal%27s_wager ) suggesting to non-believers that they should accept Jesus (John 3:16) as some sort of insurance policy against hell, just in case it turns out god really exists. The fallacy with this line of reasoning is that faith in god for some reward or to avoid punishment is not faith at all. It is a selfish act to receive something in return for a belief. The point of religious belief so that one becomes a better person, not to receive a reward or please a spiritual being.

well since god doesn't exist in the first place, how would he be able to come to earth?
but for the sake of argument, if he does exist and decided to do that, i reckon i'd be punished. cause i'm sure not gonna believe in a god who decides to punish the people he's supposed to love just because they're having a problem with their faith.

What if God did not believe in your "Flavor" of Christanity? Coptic Christians are closest time-wise to Jesus and Roman Catholic the biggest 'real' Christian group. What happens to those freak protestant and baptist people?
On the other hand, what happens if the Jews are right? Islam? Are you destined to the fires of hell?
Last thought, judge not ...

Whoooo!
How many times can this question come up?
Hello? There is NO god, therefore your question is irrelevant.
Notice, there is NO god, NO evidence of a god, NO sightings of a god, NO writings or proclamations of a god....
There is only a flawed publication written by old Jewish men who have been dead for thousands of years. This publication has been changed, retranslated hundreds of times, chapters added, chapters deleted...it is a work of FICTION.
Amazing how many people won't open their eyes to reality....

In the hypothetical make-believe scenario that you present...
I would spit in your hateful god's face and take up Satan's banner.
I have no problem facing "damnation" for standing my ground, and living a Just and Honest life as I see fit. I will not compromise my values and my integrity just to be on the winning team and get the reward. That is intellectually dishonest and cowardly. Any god that doesn't think I'm good enough can kiss my Deist ***.
But that's irrelevant anyway b/c your angry war-god doesn't exist.

I'd rather keep my morals than lower myself to worship the Biblical monster that makes Hitler look like a boyscout. I'm not scared to do the right thing. Religion is, and always has been based on little more than culture. 3/4 of the world will carry on the beliefs of their parents religiosity in some denomination or form.
