i have been thinking of this all day...okay if god created this universe then who created the universe where god lives.....what if god worships another god kinda like god holds a middle management position....and then the god that god worships also worships a higher god, and that god worships an even higher god, and that god worships and even higher god...wow so like the god that we worship is like not all that important....

as i watch you now
i remember a time long ago
when i was young and free
and could do as i please

with wonder in your eyes
and hope in your heart
a smile on your face
and a spring in your step

you are the picture of innocence
and should never be allowed out
for you will find the problems in the world
and then you become like the rest

fear in your eyes
a different hope in your heart
a frown on your face
and no spring in your step

i hope you stay innocent
so maybe the world has a chance
to remind them of their childhood
and give them some reason to live

I bought a dress which is pretty but am not too sure how to make it less 'formal' when attending a church wedding. It's a tube dress that is black with big red flowers as prints. The style of the dress is 'soft' but the colours are rather dark/bold and seems more suitable for a night out rather than a 'day' dress.

Could anyone please tell me how I cld make the dress look more suitable for day-wear? Shld I accessorise to make it look less formal?

Help! I don't want to look out of place and it's the first time my bf's entire family would be meeting me. The dress is pretty and compliments my figure but am afraid that I would look out of place as the colors of the dress could make it more suitable for a night's out.

I was in a shopping centre today and noticed a perfume endorsed by and named after that daft bint from Sex In The City - Sarah Jessica Parker. It got me thinking what kind of person would seriously be influenced by the fact that her name is connected to it and try the damn stuff in reaction. True I noticed it but it would actually stop me buying it for my wife as I'd be damned if I was going to pay the extra money on the product that is there, to cover her fee. We see celebrities endorsing cars on billboards, banking services backed up football players, telephones endorsed by sports people and so on. Why one earth do they pay these people money to do that? Surely there can not be a single person on the planet who choses to consider one brand of something because J Lo or some other waste of space sticks their name to it? Has this celebrity culture we live in truly gotten so bad that it does make a difference to some?

I am about to purchase my first telescope and am finding it difficult to decide which to purchase, I have decided to go for a 5" or 6" Newtonian Reflector but cannot decide which model and more importantly cannot decide whether to go for an Equatorial mount or and Auto Tracking one.

My budget is approx £300, am happy to buy one secondhand.

At some point in the near future i will also be buying an SLR camera so i can take long exposure pictures of the moon/planets etc so this needs to be taken into consideration as well.

Can anyone give any advise;

How difficult is it to manually track your self?
How difficult is it to locate planets/nebulae etc without an auto find?
Can anyone suggest a model to buy?

Thanks in advance.

The child is eight years old and I divorced his Biological father two years ago.Like I said earlier he was abused by his real dad and the man I am currently married to thinks that if you belittle a child it will make him feel bad about what he does and he will change. He has spanked him across his back but he has since then admitted he was wrong and stopped doing that. I felt like he was being abusive by spanking my child that way.He still spanks him and so far he hasn't lost his temper. But I am still weary about letting him discipline my child should I forget about the past or stand over him like a guard dog?

When my cat is being petted and he is purring in your lap he starts to drool. It is very gross and he also heaves but never throws anything up. He stretches his neck out and gets real close to the ground and he probably heaves about twice a day. I was wondering if it was maybe hairball issues because he does shed a lot. Can anyone help?

I am writing a love story. Initially, I was only going to give one or two details about the physical description of the main character (the object of the narrator's desire.) Now, however, I have an image of her in my mind, and I feel the need to flesh it out with a more complete description. (I feel like her appearance says a lot about her personality.)

So, what do you think -- give most of the details, or leave it open for the reader's imagination?

I keep hearing people that say statistically flight is the safest form of travel- but that's because they always quote the 'passenger-kilometre' statistic, which is unfair because planes travel way further and carry way more passengers than cars each time.

I've heard that you're 12 times more likely to survive a car journey than a plane journey- but that's also unfair because there are way more cars than planes.

People keep saying I have an irrational phobia like a fear of spiders, but it's not the same. So many things can go wrong in a plane journey and if one of them does, there's no way to survive. If you're in a car you can just pull up by the side of the road, and when you crash you have a high probability of surviving (and I'm completely ignoring the guilt of the carbon emissions).

Can anyone truly reassure me of the safety of flying? No crap sarcastic answers please.
