A heat engine has taken in energy as heat and used a portion of it to do work. What must happen next for the engine to complete the cycle and return to its initial conditions?

okay so im doing a math project and i am supposed to be explaning a simple math problem to the teacher. i just need some help on finding a way to explain it clearly..
[2x+1]=5

2x+1=5 2x+1= -5
-1 -1 -1 -1

2x=4 2x=-6

X= 2 X= -3



Check:
2(2) +1=5 2(-3) +1=5
4+1= 5 -6+1=-5
5 = 5 -5 = -5

I know that Atheism only implies a disbelief or lack of belief in God(s) or a higher power.

Many people that use this site seem to be directly opposed to Theism in any sense.

To these people the question is:
Do you object to people believing in a higher power, or do you object to the institutions and docterine often surrounding these beliefs?
