What is his problem

He's put on about 70 pounds since he got to the major leagues about 4 or 5 years ago. However, since he is only 24, losing that weight should not be a problem. Keeping it off he'll have to work at if he wants a long and lucrative career.

While Cabrera has an electric bat, he is probably the most fundamentally challenged player in the big leagues. His fielding is awful. When base running he often forgets how many outs there are or if he's forced to run.

He just has to start doing some "push aways" from the dinner table and more push ups....understand that he has hired a personal trainer ....and even with all this he is still a "steal" for the Tigers.....134 homeruns after 4 seasons....ARod only had 68!!....no problems that they can't handle....the more weight then the more power!

It's not just his weight problems. He's very Manny-like, in the sense that he'll show up late to the ballpark. He's a lazy fielder, especially for his position. He doesn't run the bases. In other words, clubhouse poison.

Great player who needs to lose some weight. Guess that pertains to many people living in the United States.

He's got a weight problem. He'll most likely become DH after a couple years.
