by Christians....I am not saying Christians were ever so great, but Muslims just act like fascists,,,,like Hitler!!! This all has to stop, we can't perform the same actions again and again...and who knows, where the global warming will take us...why making it all worse? Isn't one issue enough??

Canada has been officially Bilingual for quite some time. Before being officially Bilingual, the province of Québec went through a lot of hard times as a result of not being able to understand their English counterparts and their English Counterparts not being able to understand them. At one time, the road signs, Governement Documents, etc. were all in English. Also, English bosses would give instructions in English to a work force that was almost entirely French. These problems created tensions which resulted in the Quite Revolution. Because of the fact of not being able to understand each other, this created feelings of resentment which went as far as domestic terrorism in which there was bombings, hostage crisis, and even deaths.
In order to prevent tensions and possible Domestic acts of Terrorism in the USA, would it not be better to make the USA officially bilingual? Meaning that the official languages of the USA would be Spanish and English.

I have to get my roof fix (it fell in because of our storm) and the cost will be around $8,000. The guy that wants to do the work, said that he needs 1/2 the money down, before he begins to work on the roof....is this right, I thought you made out a contract, and if you was satified with the work THEN you paid them?

what kind of foods do you think the average american eats everyday for breakfast and dinner?

my opinion:
Breakfast - sausage, hashbrowns, eggs, bacon, pancakes or cereal
Dinner - some sort of steak or chicken and steamed vegetables

I am going to a christmas party next week. The dress I have is backless and has very thin straps on the shoulders. There is NO way I could wear any sort of bra with it.

But I don't want to go out with nothing! I have fairly small boobs but I'd still rather have some sort of covering/ support.

I'm a bit nervous about using 'chicken fillets' because there the dress is just one piece so there is nothing for them to sit in and I would just be relying on them sticking all night. Would hate to look down and see one at my feet lol!!

Any suggestions???

Long story short, my FMIL wanted a bunch of kids, but was only able to have my FH. He also lived with them (for financial reasons) until recently - he's 28.

The first year of our relationship, she and I got along great - it was like having another girlfriend around. But now that we've moved in together, and we're getting married in less than a year, she's started to freak out a little bit about losing her "baby".

She makes little comments about me needing to 'learn how to cook' - even while I was making Hamburger Helper - I mean, how hard is that?!? And she's constantly one-upping me when it comes to my FH. (ex. his face was flushed one day, and I said he should put a cold wash cloth on his face before he went to bed. She said "actually, son, you should probably put something hot on your face to draw out whatever bacteria is in there...") Stupid stuff like that...

How do I deal with this? I want to be supportive, since it's hard on her to lose him after so long, but come on!

Recently someone on the radio said "if Oprah endorsed a bucket of slop, millions would buy it". Then there are Oprah's favorite things, and those things sell through the roof simply because they are her favorites! I can't think of another woman who is/was as powerful. People worship her as though she is a God. Why is this?

My grandma is CRAZY! She is convinced people are always recording her with these small "disk" cameras, and then she says that they project the images of her back onto the wall. She even took my girlfriend into her bathroom and turned off the lights to see if my girlfriend saw this "blinking eye" on her wall. Needless to say my girlfriend is never going to visit again. The thing is she hasn’t always been like this. I mean she was always a little weird but now it’s full blown crazy.

So should I be worried that I may one day inherit these traits or maybe that my kids will?
