When I was a child in the 50's and 60's my mother would make potato patties out of left over mashed potoes. I have tried to duplicate this but no luck. I thought she just made the mashed potatoes thick and after they sat in the fridge over night made patties and fried them. This did not work for me.

Has anyone done this? I am beginning to think this was my mother's invention.

My husband jim-bob whos my cousin on my momma's side is a plumber. He as doing a job the other day and was gone teh entire night! He told me that them bears in calcutta took all his tools adn told him that they needed them to fix their little bear house. I believed him beause it is the time of the year when all the bears fix their houses and prepare to hibernate you it sounded like a realistic story to me. but today I found a pair of under britches in the back of his truck. He told me that the two bears were foolin around in the back of his truck trying to make little bear babies. What should I do bout jim-bob??
