I think we have to be careful when choosing our prophets. I believe that while it was I guess common for God to have prophets in the days of the bible, his use of prophets I think died with Jesus. I also understand that Satan may use prophets himself.

I think God said all he had to say to us at the time of Jesus' death. He gave us his word and is leaving our time to us. Satan on the other hand has an agenda. His ultimate goal is to confuse and divide mankind so as to take away our worship of God. Who has the most to say?

Edgar Cacey: There is no doubt that he accessed a part of
the mind that few people know of and 'read' from it. But
a religion that teaches truth awakens us, it does not
send us to sleep.

Nostradamus was a student of the mystical Kabbalah and
his visions were real and true. Yes! It is possible to
'see' through the veil of time.

However, both these people have since moved on to new
incarnations and are probably living as someone else
today.

Books are never 'Holy' - but some books can teach us how
to attain Wholeness (and therefore become what the
ancients called Holy).

A prophet? Is anyone who has the Fire of God burning in
their heart - for God has no lips except ours, for we
each are aspects of the One God.

i think you should refrain from calling them "holy books"

their prophecies however can be taken with a grain of salt. many of them have come to pass and im sure many others will in the future.

i would also refrain from calling them "prophets" because they did not proclaim themselves so. more like astrologers and psychics. the title "prophet" was put on them by outsiders who might not have understood them quite as well as they should have

Some serious money has been made from the books written about them. As far as their supernatural abilities as seers, who really knows? Neither were ever tested by James Randy.
