Our Church Feeds them, But then we do that year around once a month, we would like to do more and do so when the money is there.

They try to huddle together for warmth and hide in empty buildings from the weather and cold.
I've found many in the places I've lived. I've gone down to help them with clean clothes or blankets or warm coats. and socks. I also cook extra food to take to them, or hot drinks as well.
There have actually been some people I've known personally back when my family own our own businesses ( motor lodges, and furniture stores) I've allowed them to come into one of the rooms for the night, to stay warm or shower. They never felt loved before then. So they'd do their best to return a favor for us. Like sweep the walk ways, or help in the yard or parking lots etc. When we'd feed them or give them fresh things to put on , or allow them the use of our laundry room . They said they felt like royalty for a day. So it always made me feel good , that someone could smile and appreciate little things in life.
Where I'm at now there arent alot of homeless people. However I've taken to helping feed the eldery or low income or disabled people to have enough food, or warm things in the winter. As well as someone to talk to, so they dont feel alone or abandoned. It is a family tradition I've carried on , It showed me how to appreciate and value what I have in my own life. As well as open the doors to sharing God with people that may not know Him or believe that He care about someone like them.
Helping should be something we do all year round, but it is done more around the holidays or harsh winter, or weather storms.

street people meaning homeless or street people meening ladys of the night?
well for homeless people I use to go to the soup kitchens and assist in donating food clothing and prepare meals but this isnt even a solution the the homeless population its just a temporary thing its a bandaid. I would like to get involved in my community in hopes that my solution will spread across to other states and id like to start providing more recources for girls, boys and veterans before they become homeless, the solution in my opinion is to provide couseling to any one to give them tools to be successful and recources to the mentally ill before it gets so bad they become homeless.
we have been feeding them from the begining and the homelss population isnt gettting any smaller.

The Salvation Army gives them food and shelter, so I donate to them. They help the homeless in a lot of other ways also.

I don't think they do much of anything...sad...I give to the Salvation Army...
