Are your views of feminism and womens rights similar to those of your peers?

Would you say you are a more vocal advocate than most people you know?

If you are not a feminist, or opposed to feminism, do you find your views are mostly confirmed by your peers, or do you stand out from them?

Is it something that comes up much at all in the course of normal conversation, or something that you only normally discuss on forums like these?

Have your views been much changed by the questions and answers raised here?

Most definitely are, some are not politically minded.

Yes, my views are fairly similar, there are some points of difference.

More vocal than some, less vocal than others.

Yeah, my friends and I talk about all sorts of stuff, including feminism, what to get the kids for dinner and politics. And embroidery. Go figure.

Forums like this are good for touching base with people and views I wouldn't encounter usually, either because of geographic separation or differences such as age, etc.

I don't think I've come up against a question here that has actually changed my mind about anything, except that today's crop had me questioning the value of internet forums as a useful medium for the exchange of ideas and information.

Some of the Q&As have been thought provoking and interesting, but a lot are simply tedious.

Cheers :-)

Some of my peers disagree and some agree with my feminist views. But like the previous post said, it depends on your definition of feminist. Are you an advocate for womans rights or are you just out to seek revenge.

Yes a little more than my peers.

I try to bring up the subject of womans rights not to upset or start rebellious behavior among different sexes, but to inform that we have them and that we shouldn't overlook what is our right to have.

My views havn't changed. If any change has happened my views have gotten stronger due to some woman not responding.

It's strange though that someone can say they have no feminist view or they don't really think about it until their own rights are taken. Then they have the world to say about it.

My peers and I don't discuss feminism at all. We are firm believers in equality for every man woman and child, and no my views have not been changed by the questions and answers posted here.

My views and those of my peers are as follows:

- in today's society, women and men enjoy equal rights in practically every aspect of life
- both have the right to be the breadwinner of the family or the caretaker of the children - its no longer a house"wife" and the money-earning "husband"
- if a woman decides to get married and give up her career for the sake of family, and if she's happy - its her choice to do so
- if a woman decides to stay single and focus on career - its also her choice to do so.

Quite frankly - its to each their own.

We don't fully outright advocate it without reason - for example, if this was mentioned, we will discuss it and debate. For my part - I really discuss it fully on this forum.

My views haven't changed, but have deepened - I've considered things like hatred and inequality in ways I have never thought about before, thanks to some of the thought provoking questions asked by people here.

I don't much know or care how my peers perceive feminism. I have my own views which are all based on equality and choice. Whether that makes me a feminist in other people's eyes or not, I don't much care for that either.

automobile coverage quotes are in keeping with loss journey interior of diverse training. it somewhat is largely statistical. If all single men a while 19 and 20 fee an wide-spread of $4 hundred a 12 months in losses in line with individual, and single women folk in the comparable age team fee an wide-spread of $250 a individual, by making use of definition the boys pays greater.. it isn't any longer discrimination, it somewhat is organic info.

"Have your views been much changed by the questions and answers raised here?"

No, because everyone is responsible for how they relate to others and from much of what I have observed in this forum people enjoy fighting against equality in relationships - doesn't matter what relationship I'm sure. That includes what they've allowed themselves to believe and that is why it goes in circles. I guess people have not become dizzy enough yet.

Out-of-control domination and be..ochiness coming out of both men and women - have you been trained to ruin your relationships or what? Not all but many on this forum don't have a clue WHAT their roles in any of their relationships are so take down mode is it. We all are human beings FIRST. We are all responsible for defining our own roles/place in life but fighting for what clearly leads to wrong cause NO people have only bought into what they think is their responsibility and ya better watch your back while your fighting because your wallet is getting ripped off by a third party.

The way I see it, there is reference to females behaving like men and I know all too well of men who went to their graves not filling headship roles in their families - all creates trouble and it pays off but not to any of you. We can't fix yesteryear but we can stop the vicious circle and create a different circle. Is there an entity out there that could get people to beat the tar out of their families ...absolutely. I see other behavior ...do any of you? Behavior that shows it's face in dogmatic and secular arenas - one is bottom-line based on the other and really who cares to blame-shift when that just takes it's all in another directions. On the note of work, we all work inside and outside our homes. Some bring home a paycheck and others do not get one but the work called living gets done by both. Ladies work is work ...so give it up and men come on you are not always right for heaven sakes and so if your nurturing skills need a re-dip admit it and personally suck it up and learn to take in some of that encouragement instead of seeing it as a threat.

I believe that social manipulation attempts are also present in this forum and elsewhere because dogma and secularism are present in this forum. Now, when a man allows that to enter his home what spreads? When that is fed nothing goes right because both are up to something called control using various scapegoated words such as gender, work-related equality (paycheck rates and a voice concerning Government), *us* vs *them* gang-related illusions, unadult-like notation and grandiosity - name it it's been here and that's how they get ya. Who is doing this? People is my answer and what exactly gets *people* fighting in such a manner. Think about it - it's basic common sense.

I am not a Feminist. Most of my friends do call themselves Feminists. The difference is that We have different definitions of what the word "feminist" means. A lot of my feminist friends tell me that I am a feminist according to their definition. That may be true. But I refuse to call myself a feminist because I do not want anyone associating me with the Feminist whack jobs out there.

Most of my peer group doesn't really care about women's rights. The few who do can be considered feminists.
