if any one lives near philladelphia and knows of any fencing classes and/or schools please tell me for I wish to learn.

Check the websites for the local colleges and universities. They may have a fencing sports club there. Otherwise, check the local martial arts studios and dojos. You may find one that offers classes in kendo - the art of the japanese sword.
