Yes it's called "RoboTripping."
One of my best friend's little brother just recently died doing this and back in high school I had a friend who spent 3 years in a psych ward from this, so I think it goes without saying that I believe this is a very bad idea.
I'm open to the idea of drugs but this is the one and only "drug" that I've seen actually kill and permanently harm somebody. I'm not saying that other drugs can't be dangerous but in my experience it would seem that the line between a good time and catastrophic disaster is very vague when doing this.

Been there. Done that. You get a little drunk feeling from the alcohol in the syrup. As far as hallucinate? No. We used Robotussin and called it robo-tripping. Beware, it makes most people feel VERY sick and you have to drink a whole bottle, it doesn't last long and it's just not worth the trouble.

I haven't tried it myself (and I don't ever intend to), but I haven't heard anyone say that they've hallucinated from cough syrup. They say that you feel buzzed after drinking a whole bottle, like you've just had a shot of whiskey. I have a hard time imagining anyone being able to drink a bottle of that stuff without throwing up, though, it's just so nasty.

Yes. Some people have a sensitivity to the decongestant and will hallucinate on even a small dose.

It is possible but inorder to get to that point would require a very large dose. The dose would have to be so big, you probably would go into a coma before seeing the hallucination!!

undecided approximately hallucinations yet nyquil provides me some truly screwed up targets nonetheless. ive actually ran via a closed door some months in the past and didnt awaken til I hit the floor and replaced into outdoors.

I do if i have any cough medicine. My mom said it is really funny/scary to watch me when i have cough syrup in me because i just go physco.

It is called Bromide poisoning. Your liver absorbs the 1st bottle and then when it is so saturated with the toxin, it starts dumping it in your blood stream. The liver damage is HUGE.
